Júlio César Caught Talking To Rio Drugs Kingpin

Police are investigating the relationship between Inter Milan keeper Júlio César (ex-Chievo / Flamengo) and Erismar Rodrigues Moreira, a.k.a. ‘Bem-Te-Vi’ (flycatcher) – alleged to be the drugs kingpin of Rio de Janeiro’s Rocinha favela.
The goalkeeper used a walkie-talkie to chat to the dealer, borrowing the receiver from two mutual friends of Bem-Te-Vi. He was unaware that a parallel operation had judicial approval to tap the lines to the suspected criminal.
Julio César confirmed having the conversations, saying he met Bem-Te-Vi at a charity game played in Rocinha. He said he was so scared not to talk to Erismar Rodrigues Moreira that he passed the time of day, but stressed their friendship was a casual one. JC also said he couldn’t trust the police.
