too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Everything in Milan land is always so go slow and I think 95% of it is down to price/money
Quite possibly using Milan to negotiate a better deal with Austria or elsewhere perhaps ?

Not with Austria.
The Austrian federation can afford a 1m wage organically and has secured special sponsors to offer him 2m. There is no more money which he surely knows.

I also don´t think things are going slowly to be honest, we are just impatient.

So Juve thinks about firing Comolli. Speaking of timing, I wonder if the media will pick this up like "how can you prepare an entire season and then all of a sudden have doubts about his work, let alone fire the one responsible for it mid-June and restart from scratch?"

And here I thought they were about to sign Kessie, Diaz, Sorloth, Maignan and so forth...

Nah let's focus on Milan first.

Juventus is in the same position as us to be honest.

Let UCL sleep out of their hands in the last weeks of Serie Ass.

So I DEFINITELY wouldn't use them as any sort of reference point. :proud:

Hmm I was thinking about that but I think I prefer this combo. Glasner is more proven and in our delicate state I'll prefer a bit of experience on all fronts. He's used to a big league and he's won multiple trophies. His league form is a concern but if a club keeps selling assets like Palace then inevitably it becomes difficult.
They said the exact same thing about Allegri: that he’s more experienced, that he’s proven in Serie A, and so on. Personally, I'm fed up with these old-school managers who bring nothing new to the game. We’re never going to get back to the top by playing it safe. I'd rather take a gamble on a tactical revolutionary, someone with a creative mind. Look how many people claimed Bayern made a massive mistake hiring Kompany. What can a conservative approach possibly change at Milan to help us make that leap we’ve all been dreaming of?! I’d take the chance.

And you are 100% right. But what i meant was more experience at a big club and league not his mentality. Glasner isn't old school and his results speak. I'd be ok with Jaissle as well but with the volatile situation at hand we don't know he'd handle it.

I would take the role of CEO of Juve just to buy all Milan’s fodders from them and get sacked a year later with a hefty compensation

Imagine this would happen at Milan. Imagine Tare would have already been deep in negotiations with four, five players, and all of a sudden we fire him and replace him with Sassuolos SD...

And it's not like Juve earned themselves the benefit of doubt in recent years either, is it.

Is he?

I only remember him doing dirty deals in favor of Inter, sometimes also just to spite us.
Just like how dzeko was a Milan fan but signed for everyone else but milan
Same with modric who only came after he was washed as fuck

Tactical revolutionaries only get you so far.
What we need is real talent.
i.e. we need to overpay for good players and fast.
We'd have easily made the CL if Max had the talent he wanted despite his shit tactics.

So we might end up with AMORIM...

That pear shaped figure and unshaved face sends me into an absolute fury.

Also, I am happy with either Glasner or Jaissle as long as Rangnick arrives. The way the Arabs talk about Jaissle you’d think he’s Lisan Al-Gaib.

Rangnick is the key, though, not because he’s a sure fire guarantee but because he guarantees a total revolution from the top of the club to the bottom. You can tell watching us play at every level that the club is rotten to the core (thanks, Gerry).

Amorim would be a disaster. Way too rigid refused to move off his 343 when it was clear the United team wasn’t built for it at all, regardless of the time he asked for. And beyond that, he absolutely couldn’t handle the media and routinely threw players under the bus. That kind of person will fail for the exact same reasons at Milan.

Glasner is not an Allegri type manager, he is just pragmatic and willing to switch up the system a bit unlike a guy like Amorim. If you think he’s just a low block counter guy at his core I don’t know what to tell you. Also when people say he is the “safe choice” that means he has more experience in big leagues, playing in Europe with different clubs, used to his best players being sold and working with less, etc. NOT that he is an old school manager who will play the same outdated playing style no matter what. He is an ascending coach and looking to take the next step at a bigger club. Not a dinosaur who’s been around the block. Taking a random coach you know nothing about over Glasner because you think he’s Allegri 2.0 is entirely the wrong way to think about it. Jaissle is an interesting option too, just pointing out a lot of you have a totally off perception of Glasner.

If Amorim and Jaissle are options, then not trying for Farioli is crazy.

I will say this.
Man utd are benefitting right now cause of the system implemented originally by Amorim. Unfortunately results dint go his way as he needed more time to build his system. But the players he bought and system he set up is finally paying dividends now for Carrick who took over.

In saying that jaissle or glasner are the way to go still.

I don’t think anyone can anticipate who they are negotiating with or who could arrive. I would imagine they are looking at multiple options.

This can be a good thing and a bad thing however no one knows anything for certain. What happens ? who knows.

The casting for the new Milan coach is carried by Cardinale, Ibrahimovic and Calvelli along with a team that works in headhunting and big data/Moneyball [Moretto]
