A 'plethora of bang average players' have always blocked any mercato, for every team in the history of football lol
Every summer in AC Milan's history has been filled with unmovable fodders, and the only one in which we managed to offload them at a brisk pace was under Tare, at least lately. Tomori for instance declined a 25m Juve bid in January a year ago, and I called it out as a decision that would come to bite us in the ass.
Now Coventry doesn't want him for 15m. One example for 'bang average' that no one wants.
Funny how for the 3 seasons Leao was on a decline, no one here mentioned him as someone who holds our mercato. Yes, people lamented the 120m bid from Chelsea (only concrete bid during his time here), but Leao being blamed? Nah
Right now he's being offered a reasonable sum by Fener, a sum that could open up our summer, and is playing games with them. For two weeks of negotiations, an agreement still isn't reached, and Leao knows his situation at the club. "why aren't we selling our fodders" as a counter argument is quite amusing in its logical contradiction.
If ya'll could remove your Leao tinted glasses, you could see why he is indeed an hindrance to our concurrent purchases. It doesn't matter if he's named Leao, Gimenez, or whatever. As long as a player is no longer wanted, and is actively blocking offers and stalls just for the sake of it (milking them for 12m a season, two weeks now), he's hurting the club. Not even mentioning the fact that during the season, he hurts the club.
And at the end of the day, isn't the club what we're all here for?
