If you want something to watch when you’re high I’d recommend young Pato or Allen Iverson highlights

what I find to be interesting about the current situation is that if the rumors are true, we are trying to find the coach first and this seems backwards to me. Seems more natural to find the Sporting and Technical Directors first and then have them help choose the coach, not get the coach and then the directors. Just an observation.
Sportingdirector has been a toothless role for quite a bit. I mean even Massara had a pretty weak standing. I guess the SD won't have much to say this window.

Smaller deals they will give to this Kirovski friend of Ibra and big transfers might be done by the board for now?

It seems like we’re heading towards Thiago Motta. Mister 0-0.

If this happens, we’re fucked. We have the opportunity to defend our “undefeated” title, and maybe next season we’ll become the new Benfica under Mourinho.

Agreed on the sporting director. Seems like they hire a zombie to fill that roll just because they have it open. Again, for the structure of the organization, this approach seems backwards to me but hard to tell what rumors are true and what isn't. Maybe Rangnick has already agreed to terms as the over architect of the new Milan and they're in Austria so he doesn't have to leave training and can work on hiring the new manager there?

Out for a walk.
Motta would be a mistake with our squad. We can’t bring in somebody who can quickly build rifts with complicated personalities. Juve are weenies and they revolted. Xavi would bring an acumen and direction which Motta, Italiano, etc. can’t.

One positive if Iraola turned us down: I will have a team to hate-watch next season - Crystal Palace

Our best player last season was Pulisic, in my eyes.
Season before, probably Leão.
Then comes Allegri insisting on playing those players out of position, because of his beloved 3-5-2.
Say what you want about fluid positions, but you could see they weren’t comfortable in the formation. Our defense improved, but oh my, was our offense horrible to look at.
Please go back to wingers, let us see Modric, Rabiot and a third solid player in that midfield. Alot of weird injuries bugged our players this year, and I honestly think that we are a 1 world class CB and a very solid CF away from contending for the title - speaking solely on player material. This is where the coach comes in - please don’t screw this up. I want to see Leão and Pulisic/Nkunku on those wings again.

Their body doesn’t matter, it’s about the hair(lack there of). Look how many successful bald managers there are right now. No wonder Pioli did what nobody else managed
Bald manager. Long haired players. Perfectly fine with that approach

With a coach with a style like Iraola's we will have more injuries, this kind of football brings that.

[Bianchin] Andoni Iraola to AC Milan has fallen through. He could be announced as Crystal Palace as early as tomorrow. Iraola isn’t convinced by the challenge of AC Milan, a very complex situation, to be built from scratch with new management, new players, in a league he’s never coached in before.

Romano says there is a chance, Bianchin says we lost.

Cassano: "Who was better, me or Kaka? I was better all my life."

"Cassano or Kakà? Technically and as a genius, I'm always the one. Kakà was very strong when he was physically fit, a change of pace, but in dribbling, in the final pass, in genius, it's always me."

Where was Kaka when we were winning Scudetto in 2011? :o

What’s wrong with Xavi? Based on reactions to him being linked with us, you’d think we were pursuing Davide Ballardini or something.
Barça legend, I would never want to see anyone associated with that corrupt club coaching Milan

Sounds like Iraola is a mental midget to me. We've already got a bunch of those to clear out.

Next.

One minute Iraola has rejected us, the next minute talks are ongoing
"The will of the player" before "optimism filters" then something to do with "signing on fee" then we find out we "spoke to the wrong agent"... Then RnB proclaims "we never wanted him" and some stuff to do with being "weak mentally" and what not...

It seems that you idealize Xavi, he was a great player but not a great coach.

He was at Barca in his comfort, a club he knows, he was even expected as the Messi at Barca. As a result, he sucked. No background, I can even tell you that he stayed at Barca for quite a long time only because of his name. But for a moment they understood that he just had the name of a great player, not the qualities of a coach.

Andrea Pirlo I thought he would be a great coach, he was a former great player with an unparalleled vision of the game. And yet he's one of the worst coaches I've seen, even in the game it was horrible. A game almost as soft as Allegri, the king of sleeping coaches.

Italiano did well in a small club, the same goes for Motta. And Milan is currently not a big club but a club in reconstruction, you need someone charismatic and capable of making your teams play.

Thiago Motta coached a moribund Juve after the damage caused by Allegri's passage but in Bologna Motta played a great game, it's far from Allegri being the type, on the contrary. We cannot know who the ideal coach is but Xavi is a foreigner and has not proven himself. It's a risky bet that resembles Fonceca but without the merit...

Just a hunch but with Furlani and his entourage gone, I’m pretty sure the italian media has 0 clue what’s actually going on inside the club anymore. Longo, Bianchin, Di Marzio are all just fishing for clicks. Only british updates about Iraola are worth reading right now.
