I don't have anything against 3 atb as long as they have the right personnel. It is true for any formation.
Allegri's was more like 5 atb, and the LWB was useless and the two strikers were out of position too.
As long as Glasner plays proactive football, i don't care of it is 3 atb or 6 atb. The play has to be high intensity and fast paced.

This is very atypical though without any wingbacks at all.

Zlatan Ibrahimović's communications with Massimiliano Allegri regarding tactical and technical matters inside Milan's locker room began after the 1-1 draw at home against Como, but the tension was already present even before Milan's 2-1 victory over Pisa in the final moments on February 13, thanks to a goal from Luka Modrić.

Even if you simply look through all the smoke, and don't see any fire, you just have to look at Ibra's character and temperament to know a lot of what's being said probably has some truth in it.

The guys a self serving egomaniac, that's never been close to a GOAT, but has been lucky to part of teams that were good. He's never been the guy you depend on or rely on?

But sure, him going quiet, after "everything goes through me" and him being barred from the dressing room was nothing to worry about?

But, Max and the players didn't help anyone, and the seasons finish didn't help in seeing Ibra staying quiet.

Now we have Ibra the shareholder as the only guy that has any footballing experience, so Gerry doesn't have many places to turn currently.

Our only hope is that some new football men come in, and push Ibra out, while Gerry goes along hoping to protect his investors investment.

With the rumours that abound I find it hard to be optimistic, the set up sounds even worst than what we just went through and we're chasing names that at best have led clubs to the Conference League, none of whom with any experence in Serie A.

We'll be going up against the likes of Fabregas, Gasperini, Sarri, Chivu, Spalletti, Italiano and I'm not sure these Austrians/Germans are any better or even at the same level. And for CEO was expecting some familiar names like Carnevali who's been there and done that while being innovative as well and whose team played well offensively.

When they say they want to find a Fabregas type they didn't take into account that Como has a great support system, a previously unknown excellent SD, and are great at finding promising talents at reasonable cost before they explode.

So they were empty words, Gerry's statement, probably written for him, but he still has no clue how to run a football club. Brags about the Dallas Cowboys but they're a losing team in the NFL, don't even make the playoffs in a diluted field, but they make money.

I see Ibra as the biggest egomaniac in sports, liken him to Nero that burned Rome while playing the fiddle.

Missing out on CL really narrows what we can do coach and player wise. Even though so many changes are needed it’s gonna end up the same story. I do believe if we scraped CL Allegri still would’ve been out but we would’ve had much better options for coach/players. I’m not trying to be negative but I think last 2 seasons have set us back years now sporting and financial. Just watch more coaches we want come and go before the underwhelming appointment. I think Xavi is a big name and whether u like him or not as a coach perhaps the only one that’s left to maybe stop a mutiny from the fans

And how's Glasner as a coach? Fans in the EPL really likes him and have been singing his praises. But seems like he's more of a Cup competition guy than the league system, evidence of this is the trophies he won and the league position of his teams, especially Palace.

Football is evolving way to fast to get stuck with coaches with Allegri, conte, Mourinho… if you want a revolution you need a young coach with new ideas and have to give him a time and trust the process. Milan is far away from being competitive to top European sides, both financially and being stuck in average league like Seria A. That being said if you want a result you need a couch with new ideas and have a whole system that will find suitable potentials for his style of play. This is a process. If you have no patience you will end up being disappointed year over year. Best case scenario we can secure champions league football but without playing important part in this competition. Ragnick.. Iraola was a perfect choice but himself alose would not be enough. You need whole supporting stuff from Bornemouth to possible make it work. That includes scouts, sporting directors etc.. never gonna happen in this club under Cardinale and Ibra. Glasner is even a better coach but he makes himself bigger than club. This is why CP is giving up on him…
