Also they got Ghilardi for only 8m, while hes worth atleast double. Also Roma playing CL, so Kone might aswell stay. If he does, they have a very nice team next season.

Sano is actually pretty good for a clean-up pitbull role in midfield, with occasional forward bursts. Still can improve much further but if there is any truth to this, i would think this could be an investment in potential as well as for far east marketing.
There are still pockets of Milan fans in Japan (as well as China and SEA), so perhaps could be a strategic move of a transfer.

Yeah don't forget Fluvio Colovati who was the starter of Italy in 1982 WC, in addition to Costacurta and Francesco Coco who was a great talent but his life style prevent him from leaving his mark in the history book, @pippofan do you remind him ? He became the LB starter forcing Maldini to stay as a CB.

Costacurta was born in 1966 so 16 in the World Cup while Collovati in 1957 which made him 25. Left in 82/83 when Milan was sent to Serie B.

Collovati played 50 matches for Italy, Costacurta 59 and very highly rated, for me near world class, a major part of one of the best defenses ever along with Tassotti, Baresi, and Maldini.

Coco was a promising LB with a mediocre career, some say he was a playboy and liked to party hard plus was injury prone, one season at Barcelona, and after 4 seasons at Inter, (missed one because of injuries) was loaned out first to Livorno and then to Torino before retiring. Played 17 games for Italy from 2000 to 2002 and never called up again.
