To be fair, I can't understand why Leao is blocking our market. I mean, ok, he goes to wherever for 50 millions. These 50 millions will be spent for an AM (left or right) to replace his ass.

What about the other positions? CB MID RWB CF (backup)?

What about ALL THE TRASH we have? Even fucking Estupinan is still here with us. Even fucking Musah, RLC, Fofana, Chuk, Bondo, Zeroli, Teracciano (both), Gimenez.

What about the loans? Kostic and Odogu must earn minutes elsewhere.

When you buy a player, you don't book the entire transfer fee as an expense immediately. Instead, it's amortised over the length of his contract.

Player sales on the other hand work differently. The profit from a sale is recognised immediately in that financial year (after deducting the player's remaining book value, and that what is left, that is the infamous "plusvalenza"). That's why selling one player can effectively finance several incoming transfers, even if the combined transfer fees of those signings are higher than the fee you received.

Rúben Amorim's impact on the Rossonero dressing room has been so positive that it has also created an unexpected obstacle in the outgoing transfer market.

Reports today continue to highlight just how highly the squad regards his methods, tactical ideas and the human approach he has established since day one.

The paradox is that Amorim hasn't only convinced the players who are central to the project. He's also making those on the fringes reconsider their future, with many now wanting to fight for another chance at the club.

My God, new era of mental gymtastics in upon us

We can't offload any of the fodder, so they came up with 'those on the fringes reconsider their future', with many now wanting to fight for another chance'

That's next level

You should know how things work here by now. Because PSG signed him (or will), several people will come out of the woodwork to talk about how we missed out, how we are dumb and don't have an SD, how we are wasting money elsewhere, how he is world class and we are stuck with Mike, how we are broke because we can't spend more than 100m without sales...

And then if Milan signed him, (especially at that amount) you can just reverse everything. We'd have been dumb to sign him, clueless, brun the club, etc.
Suzuki has absolutely no place in a team like PSG, but since they are offloading Chevalier, they are looking for another GK. He may get a good amount of minutes since his competition is Safonov, but as soon as a better GK shows up on the market both will be ditched.

I told you.
This club is cursed.

Shocking 1 mil is far too low.

I'm putting this out there, despite having a negative impression of the squad:

This squad was underutilized last season and still got 5th. The two biggest needs have been addressed.

Gerry decided we don't need an SD. That's why nothing is moving. We're gonna end up with a bloated, dysfunctional squad full of fodder

Can't Newcastle knock on our door for a midfielder? They’ve sold Guimares and Tonali without bringing in any replacements so far.

Fofana, Ricci, RLC or Musah. In that order, should be their priority.

We’re in August and shitao is still here. It’s a disgrace. He’s derailing our window. Sarr is going to fenerbahce after this selfish guy stalled. Brahim is much more talented than this rat.
Leao isn't holding up our mercato... A plethora of bang average players clogging up our squad and bloating it is causing the trouble.

If we apply the theory that Leao is the issue, cool, but can we talk about the large squad we'd still have, packed with average players?

If we offload Terra, Estupinian, and RLC for example, and buy 1 starter we're in a better position.

Then if we offload Gimenez, Musah and Fofana and buy another starter we're in a better position.

Selling just 1 Leao, will help, but we still need to offload a ton of players and buy 3 starters and potentially back ups.

Don't buy into this bullshit narrative that Leao is at the root of all our issues. Poor squad construction and a lack of money and a clear plan are what's holding us back.

Oh really? A super sub as a striker?

No backup.
No additional CB
No wingbacks that are crucial for the system.

Yea right

We can’t sell anyone…
Because we are run by re-tards
When a club comes for our fodder instead of taking the money and run we start trying to milk them to the last euro.
We had a legit offer from Napoli for Merdah, but we tried to negotiate it further. In the end they gave up and we had to send him to Atalanta on loan. And now the shit stain is back at Milanello.
Exactly the same happened with Merdueze

Spot on and as for this Amorim impact it is marketing hype. There is so much to fix in this squad and time is short!

If Amorim wants new players he will have to stop with this "lets evaluate them" bullshit and pack Estupinan and Musahs bags.

So now we are stuck with a bunch of Adlis?

Ffs. Now everyone will want to organize a picnick and sing curva anthems on the bus, just so they can cringe their way back into the team :fp:
