Playing organized. Seems like we took it more seriously than them which is odd as most of the time our players are just watching even in important games. Hope the mentality don’t break the moment rapper comes on

Cisse is quality.
Happy for Camarda as well. He runs and presses well.

I really think that Chivi will finish like Arne Slot. Title they won was because of Klopp and Inzaghi before them

Tbh..Camarda impresses me so far..looks way way more mature. I am one of his biggest critics..but he looks better. Chuku aswell..looking sharp aswell as Cisse. The only ones that i dont like so far are RLC (who made some good plays..but at the same time he lost some easy balls)..and bartesaghi who got dribbled by mighty DIOUF everytime. I will go insane with barte and estu as our LWB this season

Maybe, but Liverpool doesn’t have the entire refereeing establishment on speed dial.

Cissé has personality, he's not hiding and asking for the ball. I like that. He's also sloppy tho and loses ball possession quite a bit.

Definitely a player tho that we should give space, time and patience, not throwing away after one or two meh matches but one we should double-down and trust in the proccess.

It’s pre-season, guys. Don’t forget.

I always think back to a pre-season under Allegri when we played Arsenal at the Emirates and Verdi played really well. Back then, we looked really good – young and fresh. I thought at the time that this was the moment when we’d start playing modern, fresh football and rejuvenate the squad.

Well. It came to nothing.

Or do you remember Cutrone’s breakthrough game against Bayern? Well, the following season was still shit anyway.

Yeah, more interested in 1) approach 2) how players fit into that approach.

Not sure how things will be when the season starts but at the very least I see a sort of imprint on the team. The contours of a team.

This is also without many of our starters.

Any guesses on Starting-11 for 2nd half?

Terraciano - Gabbia - Diawara
Saelemaekers - Modric - Jashari - Estupinian
Nkunku - Leao
Ramos

Comotto-Vladimirov-Kostic all enter during the final minutes for Modric-Gabbia-Ramos

The referees’ shirts look like they’re from Serie A in the early 2000s.

5 back is so boring

I’m not really a fan of that either, in principle. However, we play it in such a fluid and asymmetrical way that I can cope with it.

Not a bad first half actually. We were the better team for most of the time. We look organized and a lot less boring than we did under Allegri. We’ve had a few decent chances, inter also 2 small changes at the end of the half.
Cisse looks good to me!

I think they’re doing well; Chukwueze in particular is a real asset with his pace and energy in covering up and tracking back.

The question is, how will they translate that into competitive matches when they need to keep their concentration high week in, week out – Sunday, Thursday, Sunday, Thursday, and so on?
