I've just come to the realisation that Pippo is the least Milan player I truly liked. The dude has been retired 14 years. Shows how much shite has been at this club since.

We've been eating shit for nearly 20 years with a few exceptions on the way. 2 decades of pure mediocrity.

No wonder so many of you are so miserable in this place.

We've had so much fun with Balotelli, Suso, Menez, Pato, Leao, Bacca,
Theo, SES, Thiago Silva..... Hell some ppl even liked iHomo, Ronaldinho and Robinho

You can't always have steak. Sometimes you need to learn to enjoy a tuna sandwich or a nice juicy hotdog (no homo)
Inzaghi was the last proper striker we had (steak)
But if you keep expecting that level of delivery then you won't be happy for a loooong time.
It's the same for anyone who compares our CB's to Nesta/Maldini

Cardinale told this to my source

AC Milan is too special and we have too much of a responsibility for multi-generations of people to not treat my ownership as one of the most important things I will do in my life. I understand that now.

All I can say is that I have never failed at anything in my life, although sometimes it takes longer to break through. But I am not going to stop until we break through and return this Club to its rightful place at the top.

As far as communications go, I totally agree with you. When I bought the club, the existing regime tried to keep me away and I was always fighting to be involved and to know what was going on. I also wanted to engage more with the press and derivatively the fans, but was told no. I have now also changed this and am making myself completely open and available to the press - all I ask is that they be responsible and not perpetuate fake news. As in everything in life, it needs to be a mutual two way street. It will take time because of the void that was created before as you point out, but I will also keep working at that.

It is good to know that there are responsible professional people like you who care about getting it right and open to having a mutually beneficial relationship with me and the Club. Whatever you need, just come to me directly and I’ll make sure those lines of communication are open and growing.

Let’s find time for you and me to meet in Milano and have a proper catch up. Let me know if you want to come to the first home game on Aug 28 and maybe we meet prior to the game.

This is a different player, 24 years old Italian/Polish LWB. The other is Zielinski that moved to Inter from Napoli.
Inter bought him from Roma and he played there for a bit and was really good

Then they immediately flipped him

If he captures his form at Inter for Milan then he’d be a good signing

TMW lists likely starting line-ups if the season were to begin today and for us: Maignan, Gila, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Salae, Modric, Rabiot, Pulisic, Nkunke, Ramos. It's probably the most realistic and safest way to go even though it might not fit exactly Amorim's plan like inverted WBs etc. At least neither RLC and Chuckie are starting, two weaklings that I see failing.

Then I checked out Torino that haven't done much in the mercato except picking up CB Comuzzo from Fiorentina and getting back 19 year old Cacciamani that played under Abate at Juve Stabia in Serie B on loan.
Roma has been pushing for him but so far Torino has refused.

Zapata that has owned us is still on the club but at 35 is not listed as starter. THey play a 3-4-2-1 formation like us and the predicted line-up opening day is: Paleari, Coco, Ismajili, Comuzzo, Pederson, Casadei, Gineitis, Oristanio, Cacciamani, Vlasic, Simeone.

I don't know many of these players, a young squad that features Casadei, while Oristanio they got from Venezia and it looks like mid-table at best. The player that I fear is Vlasic that always plays well against us and below him Simeone.

Casadei was highly rated at some point but has struggled and Comuzzo is well known and was sold for 15 million, so he must have regressed. On paper we should win but games are played on the pitch as we learned last season.

At one point I liked Theo, but his final season threw all that away. Pato was fucked by the time Pippo retired and Bacca wasn't with us long enough. I've never liked Leao. Too lazy and unserious for my taste, even at his best.

Ibra's second spell as a player with us came after Pippo and I did like him, so I guess my original statement wasn't entirely accurate.

roma, who has a better squad than milan according to you btw, bought him a few years ago but somehow didn’t get them the title easily

explain
Cause he got injured?
Roma had a better squad than us only last season. He missed quite a few games with Roma. But whenever he played he performed.

I don’t give a fuck about Roma. I am talking about Milan. We would have won the title if we had lukaku. 100%. Provided he is fit ofcourse but even if he played 70% of the games we would still win. He was the perfect striker for our set up.

this

and asking for a 33yo absolutely finished lukaku who just went into retirement
As a backup? Now he is 33 LOL. We are late as usual. Never buy when I tell bbbelan to buy. Could have won an extra title. A scudetto. But that’s bbbelan for you.

Even at 33 as a backup he is perfect. And I actually bet he would out perform Ramos if he came here.

I still want Soule` at RAM over the idiotic idea of RLC and checking up on him he's completely healthy, has played in pre-season for Roma with no problem. It would cost around 35 million but he would be perfect playing with Pulisic, both in inverted roles, (don't like the idea of inverted WBs as well because the ball would move mostly to the center).

Salad on the right is decent but needs to do better and an upgrade over Bartesaghi should be considered, in addition to a mid that can alternate with Modric like Hojbjerg, (don't trust Jashari), one more CB and we should be much improved.

Soule` is good in tight spaces, has proven that he can score and assist in Serie A at both Juve and Roma and is still young at 23. The exact profile that fits our needs if we want to compete for top 4, and along with a hopefully healthy Pulisic and Ramos our offense would be a lot better. 35 million seems reasonable in today's market so am hoping we take a shot at him.

Soule has pubalgia. No good man. Bail. Unless it’s been fixed

And yes lukaku has injuries as well. So does dybala yet when they are fit they perform. most cocksuckers here are absolutely clueless about how Milan plays. What would help the team lmao.

I would 100% take dybala and lukaku even though they have had injuries over the last 2 years in lukaku’s case and for his entire career in dybala’s situation. However we are talking about backups. They are perfect for it. And still are.

We missed out badly. We could have both a few years ago for cheaper.

We will win scudetto but if we do poorly what becomes of gerry? Think he sells, or denies his involvement and finds a scapegoat?
Doesn't care and just lets the storm die out like it always does.

We can’t just blow money on players without sales and it’s not cause we don’t have money. It’s more to cover for FFP.

Ffp only impacts us and some other big clubs in Italy plus france. Never the big dogs in Spain, England and even in Italy where the owners actually have a spine or no how to find loopholes to circumvent FFP rules. Look at city with 115 cases for which they never got indicted.
