too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Signed for 45m last season, told he won't even train with the first team now.

Capital loss incoming?
There will be a few significant losses on players. Nkunku, Gimenez and more. Sadly there are a few players who will be near impossible to offload to anyone.

Well, Nkunku never settled annd hardly showed anything but glipmses of quality. Too little for guy who's on 11.5M gross with bonuses, leading the salary chart with Rabiot. If we're keeping Leao, and between two it seems like reasonable thing to do, then we have Pulisic and Leao for LAM rotation, with American being able to switch to RAM occasionaly due to his versaility. Also, keeping Cisse in loop should be good at least for his first season with us.

I don't trust Gasperini, we might end up strengthening the direct rival if we give him Nkunku, so I prefer to ship him anywhere else. However, if we decide to do business with Roma, then we must do loan with option swap for Soule (if he's fit ofc).

I would also feel much better if we are to streghten further on LWB (Tavares?) or RWB (Dodo?) in case Saelemaekers plays at left along with Bart.

What is interesting is this support Amorim is enjoying from Cardinale, making the moves manager requested no matter what. I don't know what Amorim has done to deserve this in comparison to prior managers, but it is nice to see them pulling in the same direction for once, even if it turns to be the wrong one.

Bottom line, there are too many question marks at the moment, so let's see how the things will unfold in the next days, busy week is in front of us.

In the yet there remains to be seen what happens. If the squad is ready and we do well that is great
If not it's on Gerry. I was reading about him today. Apparently a smart guy. Surely cant waste this much money. Also do we know who is actually invested in us?

So Leao is injured, Pulisic is injured, Nkunku is out of the squad, Cisse is close to a transfer, and Rabiot is still on holiday. Who’s going to play behind Ramos against Torino?

Interest has increased again to sign Tiago Gabriel. Milan need to offer more than 20 for him.

Nwaneri is the main target at the moment for the CAM winger spot

These are the type of signings I approve and want. Players who can improve, prove their quality and increase in value without demanding crazy salaries.

Tiago Gabriel is ready to start from Day 1.

Get a young promising SS/AM to develop and be ready to force Leao out in a year.

I thought it was Furlani panicking and pressing the Chelsea-button on the final day, without involving Allegri and Tare.
this narrative makes no sense really. furlani was always portrayed as the finance guy who doesn’t go beyond 25m transfer fee

so panicking and spending 45m after approving a 35m transfer doesn’t sound like furlani at all

this story would have some legs if nkunku was a bursado guy because the weasel loves his bursado deals

tare bought lots of flops and fodders at lazio, especially in his last years. he just did it on a bigger scale here with pervis, jashari, nkunku

Why did we even buy Nkunku? Such a random buy, hardly linked and then bang 45M! Now he's out.
Because the Commode did not believe enough in him and Allegri and management.

Does nobody read @General's posts?

The Confraternita is real and none of you can stop it. Too bad your lack of enthusiasm and belief let the club sink.

Leao, Pulisic injured, Nkunku out of the project. Tomorrow, we will most likely play the Cisse-Ramos-RLC trio versus United, and barring any surprise, this will be our front 3 on day 1 versus Torino as well. We have no subs, if we don't consider Futuro players, or makeshift CMs, like Musah, Ricci.

This is a huge opportunity for Cisse. But the season hasn't even started, and we are really thin in AMs. Minimum 1 signing needed here, 2, if we get a good offer for Leao.

AC Milan have taken a firm stance with Christopher Nkunku, going beyond simply telling him he is out of the plans and for sale. He will no longer train with the first-team group and will train individually.

Milan want him to find a solution as soon as possible and are open to formulas other than a permanent sale, including a loan with his wages covered.

The search for a move has begun and those close to Nkunku have already had the first calls.

Roma liked him in January through Gasperini, but there is no advanced negotiation with them yet, and several clubs abroad have started asking about his terms.

@FabrizioRomano
That’d be cold.

Ramos and Avila better hit the ground running to avoid this treatment from the next coach next season.

There are 3 names for a wingback spot: Zalewski, Tavares, and Dodo`. If I had to choose I'd opt for Zalewski who doesn't fit the 4-3-3 that Sarri wants to employ at Atalanta. Born in Italy with dual citizenship Polish/Italian has 36 appearances for the Polish National team and still only 24.

Replaced Ruggeri when he moved to Atletico Madrid and the few times I watched him thought he did well, good work rate and decent crosser. An upgrade over Bartesaghi at a cost that TransferMarket values at 20 million.

Tavares is a big liability on defense and Gattuso can't wait to get rid of him. In 23 matches had 0 goals and 0 assists, don't know if he was injured or benched but has regressed badly compared to the last couple of seasons. At 26 it's a little early to burn out but can be had for 16 million per TransferMarket. A big no for me.

Dodo` plays on the right that is a less pressing need for us and Fiorentina prefers to start Alex Jimenez over him which I actually agree with if he does. They paid 22 million for him, a big investment for the club and won't sit on the bench. Only 21 and a good season in EPL so I can see why Dodo is on the market.

I want players in their mid 20s like Zalewski who has a lot of experience in Serie A, and/or others from important European Leagues over unproven youngsters and over 30 guys looking for a last contract. We were one of the youngest teams in our scudetto season and now one of the oldest.

Even if Amorim is a terrible coach at least he’s helping us to build a better squad

I don’t even know what the starting XI currently looks like with all the rumored players up for sale or injured. Is RLC the only available attacking mid option right now?

Don’t worry or feel kept out of the loop. We’re all at the same level of information. Amorim included.

Barring Chuk and Musah, there are no surprises on who Amorim evaluated as worth keeping, and who should be sold. It is a shame that RLC had his annual monster game in a meaningless preseason derby, just enough to convince our coach.

But this tempo is really slow. Like why do you need 1 full month to evaluate all the fodders? It is quite alarming, that Amorim had at least 30 training sessions with some of the fodders, only to come to the same conclusion as 90% of rnb - players like Tomori, Fofana, Estupinan, Ricci, Terracciano, Bondo, Gimenez are just shit. I understand evaluating the question marks, such as Nkunku, or Jashari, as both were terrible last season, for different reasons. But Nkunku in the first training session pictures seemed in super good physical shape, so yes, there was some hope he can rediscover his old form. But rightly so his soulless performances in preseason put him into the sell list. At the same time, Jashari actually showed some promise in the friendlies, and earned his stay for the next year.

The mercato closes in 17 days. The signings, where you correctly identify the most needed positions to upgrade, you act quick and decisive, and secure your first choice players, are likely to be successful transfers, like Ramos, and Gila. Going on a crazy 17 day revolution, with selling/loaning 12 players, and getting 4-5 new signings, based on market opportunities, are likely to be epic fails.
I wrote the same thing a couple of days ago and yesterday Andrea Longoni on his YouTube channel said that inside sources had told him that Milan and Roma are thinking about it. Don't know the financial aspect of it but Longoni suggested that if they're both valued at 35 it would be good for the books.

Longoni is the least reliable source of them all so I doubt it will happen.

Yet he is a starter with the last 5 coaches we had, including Amorim, while Nkunku is on the market.

Can your tiny pigeon brain connect the dots? :proud:

Different story…CR is an ambassador there..his image is worth 100x more than Nkunku’s…while yeah..he gets stupid amount of money..he also brings money with his image. Also at least they finally won the title in terms of sports achievments..Nkunku is yet to bring anything to the table. Shame..i was expecting him to reedem himself but since his first day here, his body language..face ..looked like he didnt even want to be here or play football at all

It was totally agent work as was Ramos. At least Ramos is a serious football player
doubt it. more market opportunity (flopped in england, so undervalued with big upside theoretically. kinda like pulisic) than some agent favour or work

his transfer fee was 37m with bonuses up to 42m. nothing crazy at all, considering chelsea paid 60m just 2 years prior

and we never do business with pini zahavi anyway

Redturds in their natural habitat giving each other mental support.

Nature is amazing 😍
I was against RedBird when you all were still enchanted but no matter, discourse is simplistic once someone attacks your idols.

Nothing new for a person still trying to vindicate Theo and Rafa even though it's proven no top club wants them.

Both can be true - their replacements are rubbish but they were a big part of the problem and reason for lack of progress.

Connect those dots and maybe one day you will actually move ... forward.

How convenient.

Furlani sat above Tare in the hierarchy, and was such a stingy finance guy. What was the financial angle on letting Tare splurge on a player on a declining trajectory?

In all likelihood it was a team effort, and the final nail in the coffin in Furlani's infamous Milan career. Cried himself to having Maldini sacked only to shit his diapers for three years straight, with one bad decision following the last.
