Looking forward to your posts next summer.
We’d probably consider the purchases successful if Ramos scores 15 and Gila doesn’t concede 15 goals like Tomori usually does

I’ve been ordered to shit post to Page 970 and I’ve done my part. Now, let me bait @Samaldinho into a post that will catapult us over the finish line:

I think we would have repeated as Scudetto winners and probably won the Champions League if Pioli had played this attack:

——-Giroud——
Leao-Adli-Diaz

CDK should have been the backup for Giroud.

I’ll never understand why he tried Adli as the RAM and then never played him again 🤣 Even in that role he looked really good and then perma benched.

Simone Lontani 18 years old, who left for free this summer, is already a starter for Parma in the Coppa Italia and scored the opening goal. He's another player we're going to regret losing. He's a very combative striker, in the mold of Suarez... he never got a real chance with Milan Futuro (they prefered a mediocre german st ), and the club failed to present him with a clear career plan.

Injury prone player
Poor attitude/lazy but with potential
Had a fight with management and is open to leave
Washed up has been like malnourished pipsqueak in our team

That’s what we must target.

You have to understand that we are AC Milan. Even though we haven't been what we once were in recent years or decades, we cannot afford to field a team entirely made up of young players—that is something for smaller clubs to do. Young players want to play, of course. Clubs like Barcelona can afford that approach; they have played a specific style for years, and their youth academy is aligned with it. We, on the other hand, chase whatever is trendy every other year; we lack a style of our own.We are where we are; it all starts with an idea planted within the club. We look like the Roma of 30 years ago—a team that won the title once and then spent the next year drinking.

Last summer Jash and Nkunku, this summer its Ramos and probably someone else.
Whoever we sign will fail as the core is rotten
Poor Amorim too, looks like a sincere guy but he will get destroyed like many before him..
I mean you have to judge transfers as they happen

Gila is a 10/10 transfer in the moment and I’d defend it even if it fails

Ramos is a risk for many reasons. Jashari was a risk because of the jump up in competition

I think most would agree Nkunku was a ******ed transfer at the time

I understand that, even if we've become like Roma—or even worse—over the last 15 years. But when you develop a very promising striker who is a regular for the national youth teams, the least you can do is offer him a clear career plan and give him playing time with Milan Futuro instead of an average German striker who has barely scored a goal in two years.

And even if he wasn't going to make it into the first team, you could still increase his value through loans and sell him with a buy-back clause, just like Real Madrid does. That way, you either bring back a better player or make a profit from his development.
