Like I said, he fits the profile and is exactly what we need - a left footed super talented attacker that can play in the half-space between the mid and ST.

I don't give a damn how much they pay for him. It's fine by me. He is also already a big name and only 20. Puts Milan back on the map as well by having a potential absolute superstar in the future. So if Gerald wants to drop 100m, then do it. I'll be ecstatic.

With that said, my comment on "he is not even worth 50 at the moment" is based on what Endrick has done in Europe so far, and not based on potential. We also might have a different definition of what "tearing up Ligue 1" means. He scored 4 goals all season. I wouldn't categorize that as "tearing up the league".

But point well taken and I agree. With the likes of Endrick, you don't pay for what they've done. You pay for the potential.

Not sure if this is accurate from transfer market

12 g/a in 1,200 minutes joining halfway through the season is pretty good going for a top 5 league

I dont really follow him, but there were plenty of game highlights from last season where he was balling.

Anyways I don't want to get my hopes up 😂

I am honestly trying to make sense of your post

what are we trying to say here sir
As much he's an honorary Italian because he's a fan of them despite living in Algeria, Fabio must be Belgian because he's a Salad fan

Simple stuff really

I think all teams are waiting for Milan to drop its prices for the surplus players in the final days of mercato.

Doubt we can sell anyone without giving discounts or favorable conditions.

I really love that Gerry and the management have an unofficial backchannel now to quickly deny rumors before they take hold.
What is the unofficial backchannel Gerry and management have…this Indian twitter account?

C’mon! You speak better English than me. When it’s referring to the same person, “and” is not necessary. A comma fits better there.

Apparently Milan and Porto have both walked away over the Santi deal?

If true, absolutely fair given the shitty poor offer Porto put on the table.

Gimenez redemption arc is going to be sweet... We've missed a clutch player from the bench since Jovic left. Hopefully Santi can bag a few goals and assists from the bench on the way to us getting #20 lol.

I feel no remorse in Santi’s leaving.
So it means he is considered insignificant (by me).

I have no idea how any scout of ours OK'd buying Santi in general but especially for the price we paid

Sure he got unlucky with injuries but even when he did play he was so obviously out of his depth and even his feyenoord highlights were mostly defensive lowlights than impressive moves by him.
He's a good kid and not a horrible player but he's obviously not suited for top football. Has decent intentions and an ok shot but he's so painfully unathletic and not smart enough to play in a way that hides his weaknesses. One footed and predictable; His positioning in the box is mediocre at best; turns and runs like he's got cement boots on, yet he keeps positioning himself out wide during buildup.

With his limitations the only way he'd be useful in a high level match would be if he knew how to play with his back to the goal during buildup and stayed available in the box. Pretty much if he knew how to Giroud except he doesn't have a third of Giroud instincts/intuition, all while being a shorter stiffer slower weaker version of him

They don’t have an extra CL spot now anyways so what’s the difference?
It's to compete for coefficient points for that 5th UCL place next season. :taphead:

why I think our scouts greenlit this

milan were needing a man up top

they saw Santi with 5 goals in the CL that season and were up against them in an upcoming tie…

they saw a little Pippo in him with scrappy goals and believed that he would be a great CF/ST that would pull gritty goals for us

saw him in form, pulled the attacker we would face to use against his former team (and he did score the first scrappy goal against his former team)

but his form and his physique couldn’t hold up in serie a

It was a gamble that didn’t pay off

Everything you said
