You never got into a fight in your life?
Oral arguments yes, but not fist-fghts. I've always been a pretty calm and tolerant guy and avoided bad areas, or heated debates where people lose their tempers. Here I don't argue politics because people are armed and don't want to piss them off.
In the old country I had a good group of friends, there was no such things as bullyism in a small town where everyone knew everyone else. I had friends from all classes, rich and poor, Milanisti and not, we would tease each-other but that was it. We just wanted to have fun,
I had plenty of loud arguments with my ex wife but controlled my temper, it was she that at times threw pots and pans at me, once even a pizza because I came home late from work and she thought I was cheating on her. The pizza was a peace offering since I had been in a pizzeria with friends and bought one to go for her. She didn't appreciate the gesture.
As an adult I didn't have enemies and have been lucky so far to have never been attacked or victim of a violent crime. At this stage of my life don't go out much except for some chores or occasional visits to The Seminole Hardrock Casino and Hotel in Tampa like many other retirees.
When I first moved to the USA the city of Providence up North had a powerful mafia family and sometimes people would ask me if I was a member/associate or knew some gangster. I actually didn't but my reply was: "I can't talk about that", just so they weren't sure and would leave me alone.
I didn’t switch. It always happens that way… I stayed with the como game for a bit and even abandoned that too after chalobah scored.
