Driving in Milan city centre is insane. Made a pit stop at Burger King to fuel the tank for tonight. Restaurants in Milan all Open at 7pm so had to go there. Guy at the counter was also Milan fan and gave me extra fries, sound lad.

On my way to San Siro now with my new Milan Kit. Sadly the red and black was sold out. Debated on wether to put saele on it or my name and settled for my name and will go for salad for next seasons kit.

We play so much better when we have a midfielder there. Adli is that kid. I thought he'd have growing pains, but he's had 140 minutes this entire season. It's absurd.

Anyone who watched Adli at Bordeaux saw that he was what we needed at that position.

We lack the ability to pass the ball around, our entire attack can't pass. The days we have a good passing day, we tear teams to shreds.

This I'll never get. I used to say if Adli was the next incoming of Zidane he'd play and not be benched all the time, Pioli is not stubborn after all. That aged horribly.

Not that I expected Adli to be the solution to all our midfield problems in his first season. As you said, growing pains, a couple of bad games here and there, those kind of things were to be expected. But giving him only 140 minutes in an entire season and calling it a day (after seeing some magnificent games in pre-season) is absurd, especially with CDK getting so much more minutes with mostly not only terrible but even damaging impacts. If MM failed the mercato it also has to be said that Pioli made everything to see it bottled too. We're a handful of games from the end of the season and most transfers failed mostly because Pioli refused to grow them properly into the team with the exception of that one player who IMO was heavily overprized and overhyped to begin with anyway (I think we both had that stance and criticized MMM in the moment of the transfer iirc)...

Well, even if he'd suddenly decide to play Adli now he'd probably be way too rusty to show his worth. But at least he'd show more grinta than CDK for sure...

Nothing. I know that. Conte is not a long term solution. He has a honeymoon period in every club (usually 1,5 seasons) then he leaves like a whiny bitch.
But he is the guy who develops players in a very fast fashion. Skriniar, Barella, Brozovic, Lautaro, Bastoni, Lukaku made a huge leap in quality while working with him for just 2 seasons. Merda are still using the foundation he built.
Our roster is not as bad as some here say. Players like Maignan, Theo, Tomori, Thiaw, Kalulu, Bennacer, Tonali, Leao are players with great talent. But they are not finished product. They need the final touch of a great coach, something Pioli is obviously not capable of doing. They actually regressed this season. Conte is a master of improving players quickly and I am certain he will elevate our players almost instantly before he inevitably runs away.

Conte "developed" these players?? Inter paid 70 mil for Lukaku and 40 mil for Barella! Give Pioli Osimhen and SMS and he will "develop" them as well!

Honestly speaking Chaka > Messias and Simic > Gabbia are two trades I’d make right now and they would both be upgrades.

Also, both Alesi + Eletu have a higher ceiling than Pobega + Krunic but COULD need another season max to mature.

Primavera to Serie A is a huge step. Nasti was the best player, last year in Milan Primavera and now he has 4 goals in Serie B. Chaka Is doing less than Nasti did last year. If you send Messias to play in Primavera he will have at least 20 goals for the season. Simic looked good but recently he hasn't even been starting games in Primavera.

MIlan Primavera is currently in the bottom half of the table. If the players were that good,they would be in the top spots.
