Pioli is our KloppSo, now Moncada has told Peppe we're not meeting players anymore to sign them.
Gerry told Repubblica we have a 35M budget.
Billy Beane is going to be our fitness director and accountant.
What am I missing for today?
Regarding Maldini's market choices, I think the info leaked to journalists are partially fake to make Maldini look like a clown.
What was reported is that his mercato would look like this:
Kamada - free
RLC - 20mill
Brahim - 22 mil
Arnautovic - 8 mil
Berardi - around 15-20 mil
Appoint Pirlo as a coach
This is terrible. 65-70mil mercato with us not really be any stronger. My opinion regarding this:
Kamada - it seems to be a done deal anyway, and the new management also approved it. For free, in a 3mil contract he seems like a good purchase to me
RLC - it is reported that actually Moncada is also a fan of his. This is a rumour that really has legs, we agreed with him on a personal terms, Maldini scheduled a meeting for yesterday with his agents etc. I don't really get this, based on previous seasons, defensive and offensive stats, injury history, price, etc it doesn't seem like a good purchase to me. No matter if it is Moncada or Maldini, for 20 mill, I strongly believe we can get a better midfielder than him.
Diaz - I think he was a player mismanaged by Pioli for years now. I hate him as a CAM, he is atrocious, he just doesn't have the right characteristics, the vision, passing skills, phisycality, etc. However he really impressed me as a RW. His shortness and woeful strenght is not really a problem in the wings, small guys are the norm in this position, and Leao is really a big exception for this rule. I think Ancelotti can truly form him into a great winger, and for 22mil for what he could bring to the table, it is not a bad business. It is a bad business only because of Pioli, who can't get rid of the idea of deploying him in the center.
Arnautovic - it is bullshit. We were linked with many strikers. Openda, Balogun, Wahi, Thuram, Nicolas Jackson, Scamacca, Gimenez, Beto and in the last days, Arnautovic. Literally the worst signing of this list would be Arnautovic, by a long shot. I would think the target would be either Gimenez, whose agent already met with Maldini a week ago, or the Scamacca-Origi loan swap deal had some legs. I also can't imagine that Maldini would push to pay 8mil euro for 34 year old eternal fodder Arnautovic over 25 years old, in-form Thuram. I call this bullshit.
Berardi - lol, fuck no. If anything, these smartass juornos should have written Zaniolo. That one I would believe, Maldini was really onto him in the winter. Berardi? Come on, Maldini was here for 5 years, in any mercato, he could have signed him, he was never that expensive, and RW was always a hole in our squad. He is definitely not a Maldini profile.
Pirlo as a coach - this is also laughable. Yeah, Maldini would have wanted to change Pioli, I can understand that, after how he killed promising young players like Adli, CDK, even Vranxkc to an extent. This is tipycal lazy ass journalism, Maldini and Pirlo won everything together, they are friends, we want to change coaches, Pirlo is free, has experience at Juve, so why not? I don't think Maldini would pursue profiles like Enrique, Poch, Tuchel, Conte, etc, but surely he wouldn't go so low as Pirlo. I believe more in the Italiano rumours.
We will see what happens. The only thing that keeps me from not being totally pessimistic is more power to Moncada. Otherwise fuck homeless Gerry and fuck Furlani.
The main thing is to get the job done,it doesnt matter where do you do itClosing deals in bars/restaurants/nightclubs is a bit provincial tbh
Moncada met with Enzo in Argentina and wined and dined him into delaying his decision for a Milan offerSo whats the new approach?
Send players a spreadsheet of their statistics, a powerpoint detailing why Milan would be an ideal place for them to play, along with some letter formally requesting that they visit Casa Milan for a meeting?
This is gonna be interesting.
I dislike Pirlo both as a person and as a coachDidn't Pirlo do a pretty decent job at Juve? They started out not that great, but by the end of the season they were playing some good football. Are people mixing their feelings about Pirlo the person with Pirlo the coach?
Sure, in the traditional world, which is my pointThe main thing is to get the job done,it doesnt matter where do you do it
90 percent of all buisnesess are done in restaurants during lunch dinner or whatever
Yeah and Moncada will do the lap dance in the end to impress the fuck out of themSure, in the traditional world, which is my point
Now they will bring players to a boardroom, offer them complementary water, show them a video presentation and try to impress them into joining
This can work out with 16 year oldsSky - Moncada has informed us that offer sheets will be faxed directly to players and their agents. There will be no meetings, no discussions and no agent fees will be paid. The analytics teams wants players who trust #TheProcess and give blind faith to the Milan project.

They played good football with him, that is true, but Pirlo is the coach that ended Juve's 9 year scudetto streak. They were the favourite to win again alongside with Conte's merda, but they exited the scudetto race pretty early, by October-November I believe. At that time, they still had a really strong squad.Didn't Pirlo do a pretty decent job at Juve? They started out not that great, but by the end of the season they were playing some good football. Stockholm syndrome...MilanNews is reporting that when Massara was saying his goodbyes to the staff at Casa Milan, there was a lot of hugs and great emotions--Maldini and Massara were well liked there.
They sound like tyrants.

That tattoo looks amazing! I finished the game at least 10 times in the early days, was quite obsessed with it, and actually even until this day, I sometimes put on the soundtrack still. There is this 'melancholic version' of the whole soundtrack on YouTube, played again on a piano by someone, just perfect. You have to check it out, pure nostalgiaI self stick and poked the jenova statue on my forearm. Could use a touch up, it's about 5 years
old. I'm waiting to purchase a quality tattoo gun to finish my half sleeve and will do the touchup then.
It's one of my favorite games and stories of all time.

I think I've been very clear that my disagreement with Redbird centers around things that have happened. Rumors bother me, obviously, but again, it's centered around things that have happened.sam, you're starting to believe the sources that you otherwise don't believe
