13m release clause for De Zerbi is the best investment Gerry could make this summer. Italian coach on the growth decree.

:b:
I take it your love for Pioli is not going well

I read last week that Milan management and CDK representatives will meet to discuss the player's future. Don't know if he's salvageable psychologically but his body language tells me he has completely lost confidence and does only the simplest and safest things because he's afraid to make mistakes. Yesterday on one of his first touches he was pushed off the ball and gifted Spezia a dangerous chance on goal. After that he disappeared while when Adli entered he tried to make shit happen with dribbling and well executed passes. If you want to be a champion you can not be shy, you have to make yourself available to receive passes and be aggressive. CDK has not shown these traits, perhaps he wasn't challenged enough at Bruges and it was easier for him but Serie A is too tough for him. I'm not sure of this but it seems every times he enters the pitch we either lose a lead or get scored on, he tries an initial press but then soon gives up and rarely provides defensive assistance. I feel sorry for him because I'm sure he's very disappointed in his Milan experience but we really can't afford him on the pitch so a parting of the ways might be beneficial to both sides. I've rarely seen a new player struggle as much as him and I'm not sure how much he'll improve in the future: I've seen nothing to suggest that he ever will. And it doesn't matter which position he plays, yesterday he was mostly on the right and nothing changed. I don't know what the meetings will be about but probably his desire whether to continue with us or not but I would personally shop him around to limit our losses. Nobody is perfect but MM really screwed up here, so my question is: should he stay or should he be given another chance?

Kamada we have?
Maldini reading the forum and changing his strategy from listening to vulture to trying out Sam’s suggestions.

Give him another season, but another player in his position needs to arrive as Charles isn't yet to be relied upon. Strength and conditioning takes time to build, as does learning a new language, as does settling into a new country, as does learning a new position and tactical approach. If we see no obvious improvements after two seasons then he's not a fit for us.

good post

use it again everytime you have a meltdown and demand a coach is sacked or a player is transferred for the next 40 years

you do see this is all part of the game

enjoy the ride

At least he is spending it wisely. :o

I paid over €800,- just for the match ticket, add to that train tickets and hotel, all of it to see Milan lose badly. And you know what, I didn't regret it for one second. To be there, even in this dark hour, was better than not being there at all.
Also meeting Seedorf (and General:proud:) was priceless and I still had a nice vacation. There's always a bright side if you want to look at it.

Why does the coach of Milan have to be Italian?? Italy needs to be more open and forward thinking.
True, but which promising foreign coach will come here? De Zerbi is doing well and knows the league. Also has Milan ties (primavera product). More likely to settle in quicker and will want to prove himself at a big home club

Problem is not the loss last night. What’s really worrying is that Pioli and the team don’t know what’s really went wrong. The team has not done a single thing right last night, and it was not the first time happening this season.

I think we have never really recovered from the bad form in Jan. Calabria blames physical dip in Jan, media suggests it’s due to CL distraction. But the qualities of our games shows the team have been playing terrible football.

Losing Kessie was catastrophic.
