I’m not a big fan of Tielemans. It’s true he was god awful this season. I’ve seen some in epl circles say he was overrated even before they sucked this year.

He’s worth looking at. Would also at the very least be a good rotation guy.

Tielemans is good, but I've been told he's very inconsistent. Leicester fans are not happy with his performances...bet he does well in Italy though.

Hard to say if we should go for him
He’s tactically very intelligent and Serie A is 80% tactics. He’ll be fine.

I don’t know why we’re not going for Youri Tielemans. Can play CM or AM.
He’d easily be our BEST and most well rounded midfielder if we signed him. My no.1 pick among the players available for free.

Excellent passing, vision and creativity.
Excellent long-range shooting
High work rate and a tireless runner.
Tactically intelligent
Leadership quality (vice-captain at Leicester).
If Roma can afford his wages, we can too.

If he's so good..... why is is team 18th in the Prem?
Also he's Belgian, and it seems some here are having 'Nam flashbacks already.

Weren't they supposed to be bankrupt by now with all players sold???

In a world where the majority live off credit I still can't believe our accounting crew are so naive.
right. The way they are in a ucl final while collecting trophies left and right.

I realized our accounting crew are frauds when they said Dybala was expensive to sign just for Maldini to say he was cheap and achievable

Actually that means he’d fit right in.

We signed Bennacer and Krunic from a relegated Empoli in 2019.
We signed Tonali from a relegated Brescia in 2021.
Youri Tielemans from a relegated Leicester City in 2023?

It's going to be a weird and wonderful mercato for sure... We're all scrambling about looking for best or worst case scenarios lol.

Following last summer and this season could all be a little all over the place with our hopes, and wants.

Standards screwed, I just want us to take a few steps forward squad wise, as we certainly didn't take that hoped for step this season.

I'm looking forward to some Monconda surprises, and hoping Pioli uses them properly.

I think we'll definitely be in for surprises and disappointment, but I have a good feeling that lightning isn't striking two seasons in a row!!!

In reality, we are looking at Sampdoria, Cremonese, and whoever else got relegated for opportunities

Word is that he's been run into the ground and has lost his legs.

Ehmm it’s not like he was convicted.. all charges were dropped.
And he would instantly be the best player on the team alongside leao.
Let's get Robinho back.

Would be thrilled if we got both these players locked down. Our midfield would take an instant jump in quality. Not pure starter quality but our depth would be something completely different which motivates the starters.

The news around this is BS. So you sit down and negotiate a deal only to tell the player and agent we'll make a decision soon.

The deal is done. A player isn't going to waste his time if you aren't sure you are even going to sign him.

Maybe Kamada is also waiting for us to qualify for UCL first before he makes his decision.
Ever think about that?

I think it's more the other way around, Milan waiting to qualify for the CL. But regardless you don't waste time negotiating a deal only to say we'll wait and see.

Leo's extension announcement is going to get postponed every week until someone comes along and pays the release clause.

There was one super pass by Tonali to release Messias in the derby first leg and I had this feeling that he might be under utilised in a deeper role. He also has the stamina to press and harass opposition deep lying playmaker for whole 90 mins.
He might be our in house solution to Pioli's AM position.
Tonali was never a DM until the bald genius forced him to play there. One of the brightest midfield talents in the world has been played out of positions for a few seasons now, but you know... Pioli is worshipped here for no good reason.

I started watch this with the wee guy and he tapped out before Ibra even showed up lol...

If the Marvel and AC universes collided who would Ibra be lol?

Pioli as Charles Xavier lol, with a fraction of the brain capacity?

Leao as Black Panther, or is that stereotyping?

Mike as Black Panther? Oh the options lol...

Theo as Deadpool for the shit-housery!

Oli as @Susan

the news was launched by L'Equipe and found immediate confirmation – will enter as a minority shareholder in the new corporate structure of Sampdoria governed by the duo Radrizzani-Manfredi. There's more. Rumors accredited by Milan whisper that the club could soon join the San Francisco 49ers, the North American NFL football franchise that since 2018 through 49ers Enterprises holds 49% of the capital of Leeds United, the English Premier League club (but with one foot in the Championship, the English B series) of which Radrizzani is the majority shareholder. The Italian businessman is in negotiations to sell his share package in the English club to the American shareholders for a variable sum - they say in the UK - between 150 and 420 million pounds depending on whether Leeds next season plays in the Championship or Premier League.
