You wont see as pay for someone 30-50 mil ever again as long as these guys are running the show,CDK is the last one we “cashed”
Only good thing is that Moncada knows how to find good young players
But Pioli will fuck up anyway
we will sign Hamulic hahah
you could fast forword 3 months and open milan squad i can bet you will find players noone will know.

In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about the budget for the Milan summer transfer market. Last week CEO Giorgio Furlani announced to the now former technical director Paolo Maldini that the summer budget will be 35 million euros plus revenues from transfers, according to what Repubblica reports on newsstands this morning.

Good luck you little mouse.

Niceee. trust the guy that consistently got dominated by Inter and couldn't qualify for CL without a Juve penalty.

They're setting Pioli up to be the scapegoat if it doesn't workout. Does anyone have any idea if Pioli has any previous history of finding good players?
For what it’s worth, Diaz non resta was immediately confirmed after this statement

CDK and Adli are so gone

Transfer budget means nothing anyway when you don’t consider wages along with it

A free transfer campaign can be significantly more expecting than a 100m mercato on the P&L depending on wages and contract length

None of them have a clue. Instead of panicking, let's just see how things unfold and judge the management team on the business that has been done when the market closes.

why ,why who knowes why ,why would they sack maldini, why would they dont invest
I think they sacked Maldini(done in an awful way) because he kept challenging the owners too much in public and wanted too much power for their taste. If the squad is weaker and not stronger by September, I will jump on the tantrum train as well.

Fuck Gerry, Fuck RedTurd, Fuck Milan, Forza Maldini ❤️ 🖤 ❤️ 🖤
I have to admit I’m really excited to see what Pioli has in store for us.

He can prove to all of us that Maldini was holding him back and that with him getting more power, we will soar high.

I’m not optimistic but the idea of our coach having a say in transfers and playing our new players will be exciting to say the least. I always had belief that a coach should have a say in transfers.

Or he can fall down even further and banking on him was a mistake.

Come on Padre Pioli, prove to us what you got.

Imagine he gets a say in the transfers and he still doesn’t play them though, that would be next level batshit insane.

Next season is do or die for Pioli and I have to admit that prospect excites me a bit.

don't start the backtracking now
:o

sorry, you are not allowed to be exited about padre's incoming cooking season

you see this shit @Qaas?:head:

Not sure what you're really getting at here, if Paolo signed players without the consultation of Pioli last year and Furlani deems that a mistake, it makes sense to have a more integrated approach.

I don't think they're "setting Pioli up" for anything other than to do as well as humanly possible. With the swiftness they axed our number one legend yesterday, I can't for a moment fathom why they'd stick with Pioli if they don't think he's good enough given the right tools.

If Pioli fails to deliver he will be replaced, but I don't think there's any plan in place meant to sabotage him.
Well said.

Charles and the whole “SS at AM” is a striking example of a breakdown in communication between Maldini and Pioli

I think it’s clear Pioli prefers dribblers on the wing and a more balanced option as AM. CDK addresses neither

Honestly, for me it's pretty crazy that Gerry committed to over 1B to buy Milan, only to sell leao, maignan and theo to pocket the 250M and then run off into the sunset.

He's like those guys that'd choose a dinner with Jay-Z over 500k cash.

I’m now starting to believe that Pioli sabotaged the likes of Adli and Vranckx just to prove a point to owners that Maldini was bringing in players without consulting him

selling leao or theo reolacing with kerkez or parisi or with some young lw always will be his goal.

Pioli is an extremely lucky man-that's for sure, I'm really not sure how he's managed it. I'm pretty certain the wheels will come off though a few months into the new season

but you can't say his goal is to make money, if he sells every important asset for kids.
the product will have no value.

listen, EVERY big football club sells good/top players. They buy them as well. It's cyclical. Name me ONE top club that doesn't sell big name players.... The answer is US. We're the only morons that generate no revenue from sales.

If gerry wants to make money from his investment, he needs us to be competitive, always. he needs a cycle of good/very good players coming in and out. That's how every football club (bar us) has been run for the last decade

Apparently maldini was chipping in the 65M on top of the 35M gerry offered.
