If others really want to leave, I can accept it. If Theo leaves I’ll be sad but I can live with it since he’ll give great money and LBs aren’t hard to find. He’s the best LB in the world and I do not want to sell him but he can replaced and we can use his money to invest in other areas. Not nice to hold a player hostage.

If Maldini wanted Berardi that badly he could have gotten him on much more favorable terms many times before this summer.

Would Maldini really want Arnautovic if he had the money that his cost cutting and squad building should allow him?

I hate both of them, famously, but justifying firing Maldini on those rumors is... flimsy in my view.

I am basing the majority of my opinion on what is happening, the choices of ownership and the faith put in Pioli, who I think was comically poor in 2023.

Billy Beane is actually going to be part of the decision making process, and I'm supposed to believe in the competence of this new ownership group?
