He looks like a god damn leprechaun next to Paolo.
Well I harp on it because it shows the obvious and drastic clash in viewsIf Maldini wanted Berardi that badly he could have gotten him on much more favorable terms many times before this summer.
Would Maldini really want Arnautovic if he had the money that his cost cutting and squad building should allow him?
I hate both of them, famously, but justifying firing Maldini on those rumors is... flimsy in my view.
I am basing the majority of my opinion on what is happening, the choices of ownership and the faith put in Pioli, who I think was comically poor in 2023.
Billy Beane is actually going to be part of the decision making process, and I'm supposed to believe in the competence of this new ownership group?
Can't wait to be wrong. I don't want to be Dortmund or Tottenham. I want to win.
One thing is for sure. We don't know nothing. We are riding on media speculations. Nothing more. Media is trying to tell us something about Maldini situation, but they know shit.
Nobody knows what happend except Maldini and Gerry.
We know shit about budget, Piolis backstabbing and everything else.
Lets be calm and smart.

Moncada gonna bring me my guy Hugo?Hugo Ekitike is the last name that came out
Well, I'm somewhat of an history buff and respect your knowledge on the subject. One of the historical figures that I admire the most is Julius Caesar both as a soldier and statesman. Unfortunately his popularity with the masses did him in because they feared that he had ambitions of becoming an emperor which would spell the end of the republic and for that was stabbed to death. It turned out to be in vain because his adopted, (after death) son Octavius became emperor Caesar Augustus and so the republic ceased to exist anyway. Augustus, for whom the month of August was named, turned out to a great emperor but his successors like Tiberius, Caligula, Nero and others were terrible. He formed a militia that took pisa and lost it to the Medicis backed by the pope a few years later.
His military prowess and command are not noteworthy. His words in the prince are. It was he who advised others to use your own people and not hire mercenary's to build an army. He advised to lie to the Pope about your servitude to God to receive his blessings, gold, and armies. He blew the gasket on the politicians way of cunning, bribery, and other foul play. This is why we study Machiavelli. He's the only politician to tell the commoner how it is. We study men like Alexander, Caeser, William, etc to give us incite how how to be a great leader of men. We study Machiavelli to open our minds to the corruption that gets these men there. Both are necessary.
This was the moment when i thought Huntelaar career trajectory would change in Milan. That 2nd goal was class, but it just never happened
Okay, Quite good
Hopefully we have patience to wait this New idea worksThey were promoted from Ligue 2, to avoid relegation and win the french Cup is not bad for the first year
Ah ok. You feel good now because you learnt a few words from your mom's basement. Cool bud.well, if your braindead and i have to explain it for you as to a second grader, by your logic it's atalanta who we will becoming, a club with no real ambitions, just to survive, who will sell their best player every transfer window, reinvest part of the money, and maybe finish top four from time to time.
so, again, kindly, gtfo
Just read between the lines.
Did he ask for full power ?
What did he do with it ?
Easy decision.
Pioli specifically didn't play CDK on the RW when every Belgian coach and expert said that is where he should play.Well I harp on it because it shows the obvious and drastic clash in views
I mean I dunno it could have worked both are proven players in Italy but clearly that's not what the governing body wants
You know I've been reading up on Billy Beane's involvement in clears throat SOCCER so far...want a quick rundown?
Maldini failed on a 50mil budget because of choices, RB had every right to refuse giving more.Yes but he could also have been fired for asking for more budget and Redbird refused. That’s my worry. If bigger budget is offered but RB condition was to work as a team and Maldini refused then okay fair enough to dismiss him.
So Moncada gets a bigger budget I’ll be fine. But it’s very little and his expectations of maintaining that measly salary cap then I’m concerned because a top club can’t afford to maintain €5m salary cap for our best player
I’m also not a fan of their policy of only buying young players. An elite teams needs experience to work with, that’s what Maldini wanted. An area which I completely agree with.
Maldini also wanted Pioli gone, another area I completely agree with.
Based on reports we can assume the following:
Maldini wanted to fire Pioli (right imo)
Maldini wanted more power, refuse to share the load - Maldini wrong
Maldini wanted more budget and more experienced players - Maldini right (we made a CL SF, more budget can be afforded)
I do agree with one thing of RB, one man can’t run the show. If RB wanted Pioli/Furlaini/Moncada to get more involved I can support that.
@Tantalis
@Samaldinho the kid gets on base....
@VultureSheva you got any stats on this kid?
Quick feet, good tache!!!
I'm sold, RW confirmed...
You're on the money here. On a side note, nero always surprised me being as awful as he was despite being mentored by Seneca the younger. A disloyal student who betrayed his teacher.Well, I'm somewhat of an history buff and respect your knowledge on the subject. One of my favorite series of all time is "Roma" on HBO that unfortunately lasted only two seasons. I thought it was awesome: the nudity, the gore, the plots, the history, everything you'd want in a show.
The ownership just gave more power to Pioli.Maldini failed on a 50mil budget because of choices, RB had every right to refuse giving more.
Smart choices are way better than having x4 the money , said that when we had corruption money.
I am curious to see Moncada with the same budget before i dream of increasing it.
Maldini renewed Pioli & now wanna replace him.
Maldini was better fire himself because he failed Pioli.
If we wanna believe those news anyway then Maldini wanted Pirlo , i repeat PIRLO.
Maldini failed. Period. We need to move on.Maldini failed on a 50mil budget because of choices, RB had every right to refuse giving more.

Based on the quotes I listed in my previous post, it appears that before last summer where Maldini requested and received complete autonomy, the transfer decisions were the result of a COLLECTIVE group effort which will now return. This makes sense given that Moncada and his team scouted Maignan, Theo, Kalulu, Tomori, Adli, Kerkez, Djalo, Benny, Thiaw + Leao whereas last summer ALL of Maldini’s signings bombed and Pioli refused to play them. This would also explain the uneasy atmosphere at the club in recent months and downturn in results.Yes but he could also have been fired for asking for more budget and Redbird refused. That’s my worry. If bigger budget is offered but RB condition was to work as a team and Maldini refused then okay fair enough to dismiss him.

As it should , the coach should always be involved regardless of his status. The ownership just gave more power to Pioli.
You are really bad at arguing.

No more replies from me Tinkerbell, sorry. As it should , the coach should always be involved regardless of his status.
So Maldini thought he know what a coach want more than himself ?
