343 doesn't suit Leao. Pioli thought Leao playing as the SS/insider forward would help him but it doesn't. Unless your playing on the counter it gives Leao less room to operate in and crowds his space him playing further infield
I think Pioli made a mistake there

Leao should have been kept outside where he'd have space with the option to cut in

And Theo should have played inverted

It can still work but it needs some tweaks

All the names we're associated with are mostly Belgians or French/Africans but we need to add some Italians for the lists, not necessarily starters but at least for depth. One interesting name is Mazzocchi from Salernitana who had an excellent season with 2 goals and 3 assists in 27 games playing at RB and LB. I checked him out and he's 27, a bit older than I thought but useful as a reserve backing up both Theo and Calabria. We can get rid of Florenzi who's always injured, maybe agree on some compensation for his release, pay around 5 millions for Mazzocchi plus loan them Adli. Another is Baldanzi who can play AM, LW, RW.,is one of the better prospects in Italy, 4 goals in 26 appearances and is only 20. Probably can be had for 12 to 15 millions. Also Scamacca on loan could be a good idea as he's shown potential but has been slowed by injuries. We would get 3 players for around 20 millions and strengthen our bench.
I'm of the opinion that you need 18 good field players that you can play, rotate and not suffer as big of a drop in talent like this past season. With 3 keepers you can add a couple of primavera Stalmach, Traore`, or Simic and two older guys as kind of mentors. A roster of 25 is enough and if you have a good bench you can rest your starter

he already did. legitimately 6mos ago.
True but I think it was the max we could offer him at the time given his age and it expires in 2025. Ditto for Chaka (although his deal expires a year earlier).

Not at all and as i alredy said i don't believe people will say " yeah let's go to the highway and let's enjoy the Milan's cinemas and resturants " Sesto would have been a much better area imho but i'm sure Redbird knows better
Looks like a dump if you ask me.

Hopefully just a move to pressure the city into accepting a more favourable location.

Sesto's mayor wants the stadium but it would take longer because they have to do a reclamation, but it's the largest dismissed area in Europe and it's not on a highway

more red tape. more bureaucracy. more chances for things to go wrong.

they want a stadium asap. theyve wanted it for a while. they're tired of waiting. can you blame them?

@RadioRossonera

He was a legit monster when we were FIRST interested in him but is still only 26 and was worth 55m last season so it’s a good opportunity to add a quality player to the roster for nothing.

Building it in a bad and unattractive area of the city is not a great idea.

They are mainly a news site and they have a radio where they do daily podcast and interviews. It has been created by small shareholders of Milan, they own the 0,07% of the club

Tielemans is huge. I am liking the rumours of Kamada, Thuram, Tielemans.

Tielemans shits on every stats to RLC, younger, cheaper, more available, less injury history, high stamina, workhorse, great defensive stats, better passer, more g+a, more key passes. The only 2 things RLC is better is his dribbling, and he is 15cm taller. Other than that, Tielemans is belgian, so there is the potential he could join the fodder club of CDK, Salad, Origi and Vranckx.

I prefer Tielemans for free than RLC for 20m. I also prefer Kamada for free than Diaz for 22mil (strictly for CAM position). I also prefer Thuram for free more than Arnautovic for 8m (but I still won't believe that he was Maldini's target, I think it is negative pr). I also prefer Chuk more than Berardi (but this rumour is also bullshit, just like Arna).

Regarding Chuk, he has a g+a in 213 minutes in average for La Liga, Messias has a g+a in 216 minutes in average for Serie a, Salad is on 280 minutes. But strictly g+a doesn't reflect on the difference in quality between these free:

Shots: - Chuk: 2,3 shots/90 minutes, Messias: 1,9/90, Salad: 2,3/90
Dribbles: Chuk: 3,3 successful dribles/90 minutes, Messias: 2/90, Salad: 2/90
Key passes: Chuck: 1,7 key passes/90 minutes, Messias: 0,9/90, Salad: 1,4/90

To be fair, regarding defending, he is the worst of the 3 by far.
Tackles+ interceptions: Chuk: 1 tackles+interceptions/90, Messias: 1,9/90, Salad: 3,2(!!!)/90

I would be happy with Chuk. He is a great player, young, cheap because of his contract situation, fast, great dribbling, great shooting. Getting an attacking minded RW would free up Leao a bit more, as you can't just double up on him to shut down our whole attack, as you have to worry about our right side. Having worse defensive stats is a bit concernig, but I was always on the side that we would need a hard-working CAM with good defensive skills (Cuckoldoglu, Krunic, Bennacer, Adli, Kamada), with an attacking winger instead of Pioli's idiotic, unbalanced system with the other way around.

Kamada, Thuram, Tielemans, Chuk, please God, let it be true, it would be an amazing mercato, and really elevate us to the next level.

Agreed…Baldanzi is a great opportunity to add a QUALITY Italian prospect to the roster for peanuts (like Tonali) plus I also like Scamacca.

However, unfortunately Vulture won’t rest until we satisfy his request of fielding 11 large black men of French African extraction

I personally would prefer to try out a more traditional 433, rather than 343. I think it would make our midfield shine (assuming we get some depth there), and tielemans would work out perfectly in that system. I'm a bit biased against 343, I find it really undesirable to watch and don't believe that it fits within what we've built with these players.

Seems like it's happening honestly. This is exciting news at least.
Yeah, both Tielemans and N'Dicka is reported by tier one sources.

A bosman market of N'Dicka, Tielemans and Thuram would be a truly fantastic start. No confermato yet though.

I want some of the stars of the baby Italian team

Baldanzi, Pafundi, Casadei, I don't know the whole squad but surely there's at least one of them who could be useful and wants to come here

Casadei is the guy we SHOULD be targeting at Chelsea not fucking RLC :fp: He has the potential to become a monster.

Inter will regret selling him just like Zaniolo at the time

Chelsea paid 20 million for him and sent him on loan to get him play time, no way they are selling him

I've seen some reports that we like Baldanzi. Wouldn't be surprised if he is the other player we spend on after Chukwuese given how talented everyone says he is.

this is the RARE summer where the only real competition we'd have for an italian talent like baldanzi, is probably Napoli.

Juve are half dead and Inter have no money at all.

So if you're gonna get a potential star like him, then do it.

Spend on Chuk + Baldanzi, then get your bosmans and go home.

Thuram is NOT the young striker we need up front to lead the line and replace Giroud as we require somebody more clinical in that regard. However, he would be an excellent rotational option (especially for free) not fucking Arnautovic.
