Pep praised Pioli [Sky]:

"... from Milan last year with Pioli. They are good, it's not throwing the ball forward, everyone behind and wait for the counterattack."

I love how he said Pioli... last year.

[...]

Damn I loved Pioli from last year so much (n/h). My goldfish memory is slowly kicking in thinking about that Milan while forgetting the cluelessness of this season

Used to be small. They are rivaling Madrid in brand value now and are far far ahead of us on that and in revenue. Bitter bitter truth that I hate buts it’s reality
Bro City needs like 6 more CL to be dvdn eith Milan. It's like 30 years

Chukwueze for RW seems ideal. We lose the defensive contribution of Messias and Sael, but he should open up a lot of space for Leao and the left side, no longer would teams be able to concede their left side to players that can’t cross or score reliably. Chuk with that Suso left shot and his ability to create looks perfect.

La Liga seems to think highly of him, it’s a matter of whether or not he can now take that next step. He has the physical attributes to be a very very good player..

Let’s hope we can close a deal.

I don't know when you guys started watching Tennis. But we're talking about who's GOAT here. The finals between Nadal and Federer are widely recognized as the best tennis the world has ever seen, this is not a controversial take. Djokovic wasn't part of that because he was irrelevant at the time, why shouldn't that be taken into consideration?

And yes, I think injuries is a valid argument if we're talking about GOATS. Nadal has more GS wins in less appearances, even with surfaces favoring hard surface players.

I'll stop. Now on to Milan.
Staying healthy (consistency) is a factor in goat arguments (like lebron) . Djoko won most grand slams and he will continue to raise the bar. When their career finished I think djoko will have 5 more grand slam than nadal.

I am math guy. Anything besides results is subjective. Objective truth is djoko is the goat. He also won 4 final games when nadal and Federer taking match points against him. Nadal and Federer couldn’t do something like that.

He will finish his career as
Most grand slam champion by at least 3-4 margin in the history
Most champion in aus open
Most champion in Wimbledon
Most grand slam (at least 3)
Oldest grand slam champion etc

He is goat objectively. Everything else is subjective opinion

Goat debates are silly to me. Arguing about who got the better stats. Dont care. Im a spectator so base my opinion solely on who is the most fun to watch.
So i'll always pick Ronaldinho or Zlatan over Christiano Ronaldo or whatever.

Same with tennis.
Djoko is great but Federer was a goddamn artist.
Fuck a statistic

No question they lawyered their way out of the inflated sponsorship case.

But my point was so many teams have spent money only to fail. Manchester United spring to mind.
Don't forget those Apex predators who splashed out 600M during 2022/23

In my case, tennis was my favourite and most watched sport until Federer retired

I picked Federer over Milan without thinking twice

Milan made things easier by not playing CL since 2014 and entering the banter era not gonna lie.

Now though, I just watch the slams. The newer generation don’t excite me yet, even though I rate Carlitos. But yeah you could say I was more of a Federer fan than tennis fan.
Yikes delete this post bro

Enough said
I don’t like Djokovic as he keeps involving politics into sport. But like it or not he is the GOAT

Nole speech made me emotional. I needed to hear that. And nice gesture from Brahim as well. Love to all Milanisti worldwide and humanity in general.

Ibra is a dickhead.
A coach career maybe but not management.
Seedorf could work.

I like this take.

Federer was by far the more enjoyable to watch. I appreciate the aesthetic aspect of the sport, which is why I gravitated toward Milan and not some blunt instrument mouth breather club like Juventus or Inter.

All 3 have a legitimate argument.

Sampras would kill all of them obviously ;)

Dominating leagues like a bitch with 11 years minus >>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 more CL.
Playing with Barca (maybe the best team in the world) , Bayern and city for 15 years and getting 3 cl (1 is stolen from chelsea) is not success. Even an average manager get 10 league championships in 15 years with this teams. By the way mou is much more successful in European cups than pep. Pep can’t win a penny with those Porto and inter teams. He should spend 500 m euro for defenders and if he wants to be successful.

I think pep is a good manager of course especially for the league. But even if you only coin toss depending on teams strengths every year, last 9 years pep’s teams maybe would win 3 cl (Bayern and city). He won just lucky 1 thanks to lukaku

Other coaches have coached the same teams Pep has without the same success.

Other teams have spent more money than Pep's teams without the same success.

Also, I don't get the whole "Pep has never coached a weak team" argument. Why would he? He's a top coach and he goes to top teams and wins.
