Are you familiar with the idea that a group is better than the sum of its parts?
I am, but that doesn't apply to our shit stain of a defense.

Pavlovic? Gabbia? Tomori? De Winter? Odogu? None of them would start for any title challenging team, in any of the top 5 leagues.

Fuck them all.

I highly doubt that Iraola chooses palace over us

Basically, yes, but we might just find a way to mess it up ourselves. Like always.

Top 3 highest rated coaches in Italy
Is Allegri a better coach than Conte? Sarri? Gasperini?
Does it have to be IN Italy? Because then Ancelotti is MILES better than him
Mancini deserves a shout too.

Also talking about current rating is one thing....there are coaches on the rise...Italiano etc
But let's say that he is a top 3 rated coach.
Don't some top coaches fit poorly in some teams? You think Pep could get more out of this squad?

None of this negates the importance of understanding and having experience in Serie A

Only the injury?? Not the mentality??

Speaking from experience, when you mess up your leg whether it's a muscle or bone injury: you get overly paranoid and avoid any form of contact.

I feel thats what happened to him. He's afraid of getting injured again and it shows with his unwillingness to take on players.

Someone not 'Serie A proven' is my only requirement. I am tired of stone age tactics and approach to young players. I want a French/Spanish coach who wants to attack, score goals, press deep and has the courage to field young players. Enough with the 'he needs time to adapt to Serie A', let's force the other teams to adapt to our football.
French coachs are even more defensive thant italians

The reported Palace offer is gross not net. So both Milan and Palace wage offers are quite similar.

Como have the best defensive record in the league.
That means their CBs are ballers in a back 4.

In comparison our CBs can't stop shipping goals when they play 4 at the back (we ship over 1 goal every game we played 4 at the back in the last 2 years) and need an extra defender at all times just to ALMOST be as good as Como's CBs.

Those are facts by the way.
Please, bro, I beg you in the name of God to let this blind, unrelenting defense of the horrible 3atb go 🙏

I understand your heartfelt desire to defend Allegri under the guise of "we don't have good enough defenders". But Allegri is gone. So please let it go.

If money from Palace is more important to him than the honour of managing Milan, he is welcome to fuck off there.
We are ONLY a name now days. There is absolutley no reason to pick us over palace tbh.
Infact, to take the coaching job at this club is insanity. It’s been proven time after time. And there is nothing pointing towards change unless arabs decide to throw money at Milan and the entire Serie A.

I think we’re looking at at least 10 departures and 10 arrivals this summer

I can’t think of a single player right now from the squad we should keep at all costs. They can all fuck off. Either not good enough or with an entitled attitude
Maignan will be difficult to replace. In addition to his talent, his charisma reassures a defense and a locker room.

Saelsmaekers we can say what we want he managed to play good matches under Allegri it's a miracle. With a good coach he will be very good. His replacement Athekame has progressed to the point that he is starting to compete with Saelsmaekers for this position.

-Right rear no need for change.
-Left back Grimaldo would be great with Bartesaghi replacing at best.
-The central defenders are all bad except Pavlovic but I think he will leave, he is good but he is not a war machine either.
-In the middle Rabiot will be a huge loss.
-Ricci I am one of the rare or only ones to believe in him. I found him good while playing under Allegri, he's strong.
-Jashari is an enigma but beyond his probable talent it is his slowness which is not compatible with modern football. He would have been a star in the 80s but football has evolved in terms of intensity if he doesn't change that he will end up in a small or medium club.
-In attack Nkunku is a top player who also worked miracles under Allegri by arriving more injured. Pulisic seemed depressed by Allegri's lackluster play but he is a very good player. Gimenez was good before but he became ghostly... Allegri syndrome?

Most can leave but I think some would be very good with a real football coach.

Would you pick Pamela Anderson over Sydney cause Pamela Anderson used to be The Pamela Anderson?

Everything points to Leao leaving and I have no ill will towards him compared to Benchdeers.

The injury messed him up and we might as well salvage what we can.
It has been his messed up groin and being played out of position by Allegri that destroyed his soul.

The attitude is a problem but also a side effect of some deeper causes that were beyond his control.

Do You Understand English GIF

I ain't defending Allegri. I'm saying our defenders are absolute dogshit.
They were dogshit before Allegri, they were dogshit during Allegri, and they are dogshit after Allegri.

There is no defense of 3atb. If you want to play a back four, buy better defenders or fuck off with that idea.

And use your puny little brain and rotting eyes properly to comprehend what I'm writing.:taphead:

Pavlovic, Gabbia, Tomori, all of them can fuck right on off, cause they're dogshit defenders.

Mancini achieved the feat of winning the Euro with Italy, far from being the favorite, by producing a great game while having an excellent defense.
He was my first choice with Gasperini who needs no introduction...

I know little Italiano but if Naples wants it it must be good.

Thiago Motta I think he chose the wrong club, Juve never advocated the beautiful game, which is why Allegri stayed there for a long time, relying on the work of Conte. .Bologna played well and Milan is not Juve in terms of playing philosophy and club...

I don't know the others like Iraola so I won't be able to comment on him.

I hope we will produce an intense, technical game with excellent defense. I only saw this at Mancini...

It's difficult to find the ideal candidate but I would like to see a Milan again with Italians at the top in their positions like Nesta, Maldini... The one I would dream of having is Palestra. And in defense Calafiori but he's dead I think he has no interest in coming to the club at the moment...

A player I would love to see again in Milan is Reijnders 🤩. A Reijnders-Tonali-Rabiot midfielder and a real coach, a good defense we would once again become protagonists in Europe...

For 4atb definitely 2FBs and 2CBs are needed.

Athekame, De Winter and Bartesaghi are at least young and can still improve, imo fine as back ups. Gabbia for lists and his baseline is at least not horrible.

This would be the perfect point to sell Pavlovič for a good price imo, if we don't play 3 atb.

2025: 47xGA with 4atb
2026: 46xGA with 3atb

i mean our defenders are ******s, doesn’t really matter what formation you put them in:lol:

His biggest fault was not making more of his talent and I think he knows that very well given his depressing message on his IG.

Its time for us to move on and rebuild.

I can totally see that but my argument is also that before his injury he always had a mentality issue as well, the approach to the game.

Agree 100%. If he actually gave it his all he would have reached the heights Kvaradona did.

I feel that many Western European players lack the fight that South American and Eastern European players have. It shows in career trajectory too.

Selling Pavlovic for a good fee and Tomori. Can easily make 55-60m for both.
The rest I would keep of our defenders

Estupinan needs to go too imo. In a 4atb his defending would also be very sus.

Saele would need to go into midfield, RB is too defensive imo.

You are assuming competence.

Why keep Ibra? There’s a million potential explanations: Cardinale is incompetent, Cardinale is star struck and persuaded by Ibrahimovic, he likes the way Ibrahimovic and his wife fuck in front of him on the cuck chair.

Assuming people are making the correct decisions because there is money involved is naive. I run multiple businesses and have all the interest in the world in protecting and growing my capital as guess what?! I have made stupid fucking decisions multiple times.
After the "you are assuming" i expect you not to assume.
What make you assuming that a millionaire is an idiot is more accurate than me assuming that a millionaire isnt?

This is why I say half this forum has never played sport. Some of you (bitches) never even went outside
I was (am) injured last week. Knee. Waddling around like a fuckin duck.
The guys on work BEGGED me to play with them....had to take strong pain killers to play.
Was playing ok and shooting well but someone dished a pass on the run for the open layup and I was in two minds:
Go for it with speed and fuck up my knee further
OR
Pretend you didn't see the pass.
I did the latter :o
This kind of shit has been in Leao's brain since the start of the season and he's still manged to score.

It's really depressing to see how little grace he gets from ppl who couldn't even dream to do the things he does WHILE INJURED
