The only player that i would currently consider as 100% off market and wouldn't even listen to offers, is Reijnders.

The rest can be sold (if they want to go and/or if a good offer is received).

None of our CBs have proven to be reliable enough for a back 4. Sure, part of the problem is lack of protection from midfield. But still, all of them have simply made too many mistakes and have been way too inconsistent. BUT, in a back 3, (at least so far) they've done well and I'm certain Thiaw will as well.

We need to understand and decide how we'll play next season and build the team for that. You don't need world class CBs for a back 3. So if we are sticking with that, then the backline isn't necessarily a top priority for me in the summer.
But if we are switching back to 4, then we seriously need to buy 1 top CB. So then yes, that means selling 1 (or 2) of the existing ones....and that might be Thiaw and/or Tomori.
reijnders, fofana, leao, pulisic, theo, maignan. (Yes Theo even though he had a bad season).
Every top team needs a spine.
The rest are sellable (except Gimenez, too early to decide). Gabbia is growing on me though.

I think all of our players should be sellable, some I would cling onto more than others. The above situation applies to only a small number of players, ones that would be difficult to replace like Reijnders.

More important than selling x, y and z is that we need some guarantees that there is a sporting project in the making. If the plan is to linger around the midtable then anybody is sellable. If we want to win and grow on the pitch then better to keep your stars and upgrade the fodder.
And when your stars are not discernable from fodder ??

I agree with you in principle and in the past argued very much for that but it's becoming clearer that Mike Tomori and Theo are replaceable with how they have performed. Thiaw isn't even to that level and can't beat out any of the three CBs ahead of him and those three have been ridiculed plenty.

Getting rid of the fodder is obvious - it's moving on the false positives that maybe more mirages than fundamental pieces that will make us better going forward.
And yes it goes without saying that the direction set from the top is what has to be corrected. It's imperative but as we see far too many times, late to the party and taking the second and third option is the MO of ownership and that doesn't inspire confidence.

Inter lawyers told to Lega Serie A that their club is not happy at all about the Supercoppa in Saudi Arabia and in a final four format, they are threatening to boycott the Supercoppa
Lega Serie A leaks that if Inter boycott the Supercoppa they will be punished both financially and in the league

This is so embarrassing

Can you imagine a Barcelona fan rooting for Madrid this hard or Arsenal fan rooting for Chelsea like this?

What is going on with these international fans. I get Serie A league has really been starved of quality for years and we all want relevance for the league again, I do too but come on, never root for Inter or Juve ffs. Rivalries come first

Football has changed. Rivalries come second. Inter going far in the CL benefits Milan/Juve more than the ego boost of seeing Inter fail. Rivalries still matter, but only domestically and not more than the financial future of all the clubs involved. Just the other day, Wayne Rooney was on TV saying he hopes Arsenal makes it to the final and wins it. Do you think the fans should be more brand loyal than the former players themselves?

Exactly

Massaro openly supports rube
Leaf backs inter
I do as well for inter as long as they don’t come near 7 ucl. They can have 5 max.

Domestically though he’ll nhaaa. Corrupt league but I want us to still dominate domestically.

What is curva sud going to do if we support other teams? They can come get it.

I'm not sold on Fofana. I think he's a good player, but has a lot more to prove imo. His time here has been very up and down. That doesn't mean I want him sold. He is solid enough time be in the squad. But I think we need more quality in the midfield.

Ideally, I want us to go to a mid 3 (1 pivot behind Fofana and Reijnders. Currently, in a 2 CM format, Fofana isn't able to cover all the ground for Reijnders, and to get the absolute best from Reijnders, we'd ideally free him from too many defensive tasks). I don't blame Fofana for this though. There are not a lot of players out there (or even in recent history) that could do all that coverage on their own. I'm thinking of the likes of Desailly, Makalele, Gattuso, Kante. I see no players like those in today's crop.

Thinking back on Tonali now and "what could have been"....

Lukaku goal in 2 minutes, and Napoli go 6 points ahead.
Lukaku dunking on Merda would be so funny.

Update: it's offside, but no matter. Just a matter of time.

Yh this is kinda weird in the beginning

But with England it's a little.different as Europe as a collective hates them. So they will back their clubs against anyone from European continent.

And on the international scene it's alot worse. They went full Irish in 1994, and will support Germany anytime they've played Argentina.

Idk if its a scouting issue but an allocation of resources/team structure

I was watching Inter play Roma and the best player on the pitch was Manu Kone. Sensational performance

and it just irritated me how much they pursued him and for how long but in the end were incapable of signing him and even facilitated Roma signing him by taking Tammy off their hands

It happens so often where Milan are close to a player but lose him at the final line and he goes on to be an absolute stud

He was always a back up plan if we failed to sign fofana
