If Red Bird remains it’s going to be either management remains as is or they bring in a yes man SD that will go along with what the group says. Nothing will change.
This, THIS! That's why they didn't manage to bring anyone worth his salt already, bc here they only need a SD in name. They don't have any intent to let decision power to anyone else, let alone some SD from the outside.

No way D'Amico or any of top SDs will come to work under these conditions. That's why I believe @ACM14061988 that it'll be Sogliano or somebody lame as that. Just the fact they even thought about leaving Conc on the bench for next season if we somehow won the cup, even though even Allegri plays more proactive football, is truly indicative of even darker times beckoning.

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Yep, obviously I am not even thinking about it, just was curious why the hottest striker in Europe is going only for 60m.
Also we have the captain of the European Champions coming back, no need to go for some 2year wonder, unproven scandinavian boy:proud:

And also already got our replacement for Tiji when we sell him to City

Our management securing players early this time!

I really hope Milan do not sell Reijnders and will be happy to see Adli return and play under a manager who knows how to utilise his passing game.

Morata I hope can be sold along with a series of duds signed under the current management.

Milan, the Rossoneri Faithful Haven’t Forgotten Maldini: Social Media Protest

Once again, social media has become the sounding board for the Rossoneri fans’ discontent: the supporters and the figure of Maldini.

Yet again, the social networks have turned into an amplifier of AC Milan supporters’ frustration. Under the latest posts published on Milan’s official Instagram account, fans have renewed their protest with vigor against the current ownership and leadership. A bitter déjà vu, reflecting a wound that remains open and a growing sense of dissatisfaction with how the club is being managed.

The Maldini Wound Still Burns: Milan Fans’ Social Media Protest

Milan’s most recent social media video was completely flooded with a wave of GIFs, images, and comments all featuring one unmistakable figure: Paolo Maldini. This digital invasion goes far beyond mere nostalgia for a football legend—it’s a vivid demonstration of an unbroken bond between the fans and their former technical director. Maldini is seen as a symbol of competence, passion, and Milanese identity, standing in stark contrast, in the public imagination, to the actions of the current leadership.

This persistent call for Maldini isn’t an isolated trend, but rather a signal of a deeper malaise running through the fanbase. His abrupt departure from the club left a void—not only within the management structure, but also in the hearts of the supporters, who saw in him a guardian of Milan’s values and history.

The social display of remembrance for Maldini serves as a silent yet powerful indictment of the decisions made by the current ownership and management. It’s a way of expressing frustration over a disappointing season, uncertainty about the future, and leadership that, in the eyes of many, does not live up to the club’s prestigious legacy.

The message from the fans is loud and clear: the pain of Maldini’s departure is still fresh, and dissatisfaction with the current direction continues to grow. This recurring protest on social media is a warning sign for the ownership. Ignoring this outcry—and continuing to underestimate the deep emotional bond between the fans and figures like Paolo Maldini—could have increasingly serious consequences for the atmosphere and the future of the club itself. The Rossoneri faithful have spoken once again, and their message is a clear call to reflect—and perhaps to change course.

Milan, Brambati: “Furlani? I’d Fire Myself. He’s Not Competent. Maldini…”

On Maracanà, a program on TMW Radio, several pundits discussed the Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna. Among them was former footballer and agent Massimo Brambati, who focused on Furlani and Maldini.

“If I were Furlani, I’d fire myself—for all the damage done and for the incompetence. He’s not competent, it’s not his field. I saw Galliani’s face yesterday and heard he told people close to him in the stands, ‘This is unbearable suffering, I might not even come anymore.’ Bologna deserved it, but given Milan’s recent positive streak, I expected something different—especially when they went behind. This team is capable of shifting gears. As it stands, this is a failed season. And not qualifying for the Champions League is always a failure for Juve, Inter, and Milan. For Juve, even if they make it in, it’s still a partial failure. But at Milan, there’s incompetence. Maldini understood that the bar needed to be raised in terms of investment, and yet he still brought Milan to a high level. Since he left, I haven’t seen Milan performing at the level it deserves.”

Brambati Harsh on Milan: “Furlani Is Not Competent. Maldini Understood the Vision…”

He also weighed in on the coaching situation: “Who’s going to choose the new coach? You can’t have Furlani making that call, deciding whether Tare comes in or not. That’s the job of a sporting director—not Furlani. You need to start over with a true football man—someone with appeal and personality. I know Tare was told, ‘We’ll let you know.’ What does that even mean? If it were me, I’d have brought someone like him into the club right away. We’ve seen what he did at Lazio—he’s a top executive, he’s available, and I just don’t understand the hesitation. There’s also a lack of respect for Milan’s history. Boban and Maldini are Milan’s history. They took on executive roles and did well, after maturing into those positions. They grew in those roles alongside Massara, who is another excellent director.”

Letizia: "Milan has become a joke. Cardinale has destroyed everything..."

Journalist Francesco Letizia has written a long and compelling editorial focused on AC Milan, harshly criticizing Gerry Cardinale.

Letizia’s editorial appeared in Sportitalia, where he particularly focused on Milan and delivered strong criticism of Gerry Cardinale. Here's an excerpt of his words.

Milan, Letizia takes aim at everyone: harsh words for Scaroni and Cardinale. "Kindergarten level."

“June 1, 2025, will likely be a very, very difficult morning for all true Milan fans. If we could hop into a time machine and go back exactly three years, no one would believe the story we’d tell. On exactly June 1, 2022, the downfall of AC Milan officially began, with Gerry Cardinale arriving in Milan. It was a 'meeting' where the new owner was shown to the press from a safe distance, like a Hollywood star. No press conference, no chance for an informal chat—just to get to know him a little. Spoiler: that would be the only time Gerry Cardinale ever granted us poor, ordinary journalists the grace of showing himself.”

“Since then, he’s preferred the occasional business forum thousands of kilometers from Milan. A couple of soft interviews with no pushback, where he talked about anything but football, and a handful of staged photo shoots during his extremely rare visits to Italy. Obviously, for tequila or for the stadium (which, by the way, won't be built). Not for that silly stuff where 22 idiots in shorts run around on the grass. In response to polite, courteous, and repeated requests for more presence, we were always told: 'Gerry is a high-profile figure, he can’t be thrown to the Italian press.' Cue the endless recital of his financial CV.”

"This obsession with résumés seems to be a bad habit..."

“It’s clearly not just Scaroni’s habit. That alone could sum up the story of Milan under RedBird. Some might ask: ‘Why speak out only now?’ The answer is that, in these situations, when the dirt is minimal and not toxic, it's easy to sweep it under the rug for everyone’s peace of mind, hoping it’s just a temporary lapse. But today, it’s clearly no longer possible to do so, for a number of reasons. The dust has made the air unbreathable, and the homeowners couldn’t care less if others are suffocating. As of May 15, losing the Coppa Italia final is almost the least of the problems. We should be discussing tactical decisions or news about the new coach or market choices. Instead, we’re forced to talk about what stands above all that—what has caused this failure.”

“The arrogance of this ownership is, of all their many flaws, without doubt the most serious. The idea that they’re the smartest, the cleverest, the most insightful never leaves anyone orbiting around the upper floors of Casa Milan, a cushioned world where match results might as well not exist. That’s why Milan, thanks to RedBird, has become the laughingstock of Italian and European football. The much-hyped ‘Vision’ is a severe case of shortsightedness that can only be corrected by urgent intervention. We are far beyond hiring a new sporting director or blaming the CEO. This is the reckoning of Europe’s worst ownership.”

Letizia: "Milan fans are tired of being lectured by..."

“Milan fans are tired of being lectured by people who don’t even know that football is played with 11 players. Even as I write this, I fear someone might respond to me with ‘Talking about yourself?’—something I haven’t heard since kindergarten in 1990. Cardinale has destroyed what Elliott had at least vaguely started. But Elliott, regardless of fans’ illusions, is nothing more than a speculative fund, and when the chance to cash in came, they didn’t care what would happen next. Gordon Singer’s continued presence on the club’s board of directors means nothing: the Singers still collect the interest on the Vendor Loan whether Milan finishes ninth or first.”

According to my source Futuro will sneak back to Serie C due to other clubs financial problems
My guess is exactly the same... With this management we have no business being in Serie C bc we'll flop again with these fucks leading us. If Gerry leaves Ibra at this position then it's certain he's nuttier than chinese chicken salad!

Ad people who watch Futuro, I would be interested in what was the main problem of Futuro?
Did we over promote players? Too many transfer flops? Just Bonera's fault?
Lack of structure, not so good quality all around... There you'd need a more disciplinarian coach who'd impose structure before anything else. Amount of silly goals we conceded was truly baffling.

I have to say, our primavera "stars" like Liberali didn't even feature that much. Bartesaghi was bad again today, no way he'll be anywhere near 1st team rotation in the near future. We hugely overestimated this bunch here on R&B.

It all started with Ibra foring Abate and installing Kirovski & Bonera to lead this project. Fast forward 10 months, results are clear for anyone to see. They kept Bonera as long as they could to cover their asses, still had to replace him, but too late. Our 1st team bad decisions mirror Futuro's, it's almost like they're made by the same incompetent people...

Yes, this is it.

It has always been the SD candidates who turn down the offer from Milan. In the beginning, media made it sound like Milan had 10 different options and every available SD out there was dying to work for this club.

The candidates met up with Cardinale, Ibra, Furlani etc. then went home and laughed. No SD is taking this management seriously. If they manage to find one, the one SD will be a joke to begin with.

The insult is them bringing in a yes-man SD to shut the fans up. The idea itself is already an insult to the club and the fans.

This management is just too exposed.

Yep, Boban laid it out the other day on a dish. He even said about our "search" of SD to be only a formality, nothing de facto can or will be changed. Maldini wanted only basic prerogatives of decisionmaking and they drove him out of town. D'Ottavio replaced him ffs. That's the type we can again expect. No way Paratici or someone like that (like Bartra, lol, like he'dever come to this shitshow) would come gere. Maaaybe Tare but that's bc dude's out of work for years.

Please stop Milan matches as you agreed.
Also if you don't watch Milan you don't need to comment here.

This is not just about Leao. If we got an MBappe or a Raphina or someone who could have prevented us from being fuckin 9th or losing to Bologna, I would take it.

But

If you hate ONE player to the extent that you don't want to see the team WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE.

There are so many players we had that I loathed
iBra, Muntari etc. But to do profoundly hate a player more than this special club is unhealthy
Get help
Ibra, really? Egotistical, I grant you. But he always backed it up in the pitch for us.

There is a very high probability Moncada will be rolled out as SD. Now that he is “licensed” and we all know where that appointment will lead to.

Gerry will always keep his yes men safe. It is one of several reasons Furlani always has that smug little grin he knows Gerry won’t fire him.

We have power hungry motherfuckers thats why maldini was fired, thats why fonseca was hired, that is why they haven’t agreed anything with a sporting director.. nobody would agree to their terms and be a largely yes man… this shit about working as a team was their justification for firing maldini but in reality furlani wanted to meddle in sporting decisions and maldini wasn’t buying it.. it’s like football manager for them

That little snake Furlani i would fucking beat the shit out of him if I ever got my hands on him

He probably can’t… the CEO is the owners boss.. only at milan could such a stupid statement be actually true

Of course this Futuro project is an absolute failure. Ibrahimovic brought his buddy Kirovski to run the project. I mean...what the actual fuk!?!?! Zero experience in this situation and zero experience/contacts in Italy. Had he ever even watched a single Serie C game before? Did he know the level of the league, the expectations, the level of our OWN players? I doubt he'd seen any one of them ever play before.

Then Cardinale....i mean, in any business, as an owner/manager, you have to surround yourself with competent people. You have to hire capable people. Cardinale is an absolute dumbass for not doing that. But then again, he might not be as dumb as he is arrogant. And arrogance can be useful in some situations...but in many others, it'll be your worst enemy.

These people have destroyed everything they've touched so far. Why would we expect anything different this summer...

Being a bit Mr Positive now but a year or so in Serie D and being less compromising on talent vs short term sporting quality must not be bad for Futuro. In the end their sporting success is at best secondary.
My native village of 6000 people made Serie D one year, they went from 3d categoria, to 2nd, 1st, Promozione, and Serie D. It happened in 2012, the year I moved back to Italy to retire there but returned here after 10 months, so I witnessed this historic event in person at the cost of 5 Euros per ticket.

Unfortunately the field of play, (wouldn't call it stadium with fans standing up behind fences), wasn't good enough to host Serie D matches, and the mayor refused to finance the funds needed to transform it into a viable stadium for the division, some businesses wanted to help but not enough to fill the gap without the municipality, (10 million or so needed), and we lost the club that was forced to move to a bigger town 50 miles away and took the name of that place.

We are now back to second categoria but I would have loved to watch Milan Futuro playing my hometown and wonder who I would have rooted for.

Most Serie D players have side jobs like insurance agents, barbers, security guards. I wonder what occupations Camarda and Liberali would choose.
