On our problems... Honestly, either sell everybody or sell nobody.
Selling just Reijnders makes no sense. 70 m in the pocket and a huge hole to fill in the center. At least 35-40 m will be needed to cover it. So, we will be losing our best player and take a risk to replace him with another player (that may not pan out as good) just to end up with 25-30 in the pocket. No sense in doing this at all.
I think we have two scenarios:
1. Sell a lot - Reijnders, Leao, Theo, Tomori, fodders and get 250+ m for a total rebuild
2. Sell only the fodders + Theo (if he does not renew) and give Max 2-3 good players on top of the current roster

Allegri is not a very exciting option for sure, but with the light schedule we will have, if we play our cards right I say we have a fair shot for the Scudetto. Top 4 should not even be discussed. All of merda, Roma, ladri, Napoli, etc. will play at least 10 games more than us next season. As shown by Napoli this season, this is a huge advantage. Keep the roster, add 2-3 good players and let's roll.

Have a nice summer everybody. See you in August.

Football at these levels isn't a sport

It's entertainment

Instead, everything individual will always remain sport

Generational hatewatch. I don't think we will see merda humiliated more than this in our lifetime. Too bad Barcola and Kvara missed a few easy chances. Could've been 7/8-0.
I still find it hard to believe that this team reached the final. Everybody here has been saying for years how Atalanta are a system team and their players look good only because of it, which is true, but for some reason these same people struggle to realize that it is the same with merda. Team full of donkeys and uncles that individually is not even top 10 in Europe reached 2 finals in 3 years. Crazy overachieving. But at least it was worth it to see them being humiliated like nobody before. The only downside is that they made a lot of money on the way, but I doubt they can use this money on the market. We will see.
The amount of times I have heard here how Dimarco, Bastoni, Hakan, Lautaro, Thuram, etc. are world-class is astonishing. If you pay close attention to the goals they concede you will see either Bastoni or Dimarco committing big mistakes all the time, mostly positional. Not just yesterday, but in every game.
First goal - world-class Dimarco 1 meter behind the offside line. World-class Bastoni (the one on the left) standing there guarding nobody despite 2 players being right in front of his eyes.
View attachment 49669
Second goal, world-class Dimarco did what they teach you as a kid not to do while defending a shot - twist you body. As a result, he watches from the front row how the ball goes in.
View attachment 49670
Absolutely no reason to be doing this.
Goals 3 and 4 world-class Bastoni kept Doue and Kvara onside just for a few centimeters despite being obviously slower than them. Instead of setting an offside trap by simply slowing his movement, the moron decided to run full speed which was perfect for the attackers.
5th goal - world-class Bastoni being 3 meters behind the offside line which kept Barcola onside before the assist to the kid that dunked on merda.
View attachment 49672
Literally all 5 goals come from direct faults from these two. Theo Hernandez is getting crucified here for much less.
And don't even get me started on world-class Barella, Calhanoglu, Lautaro and Thuram who couldn't sniff the ball. Their whole team is built around sending crosses in the box and kicking the ball to Thuram and hoping that he outmuscles his defender. They even brought back the long free throws from the dead  A team of falsely accused world class players, donkeys and uncles that under different circumstances would've been fighting for top 4 in Serie A. Hopefully this is the start of their downfall. It's long overdue.

I've been saying this for months.

Shinter is a team of mostly average players who are playing in a well built system.
Kebab, Acerbi are perfect example. If they were free agents tomorrow, they wouldn't start for any of the European top teams.

You could see it against Barca already - talent wise Barca shits all over Shinter.
But Barca failed to prepare for the game defensively.

The UCL final makes Shinter look worse than they are.
Once again - the trashing was a combination of factors.
PSG are in a form of their lives. Simeone failed tactics wise. And it looked like Shinter completely tanked mentally.

But soldier told us...

These idiots at FIF are going for Limone's ass, with players that won't make Milan's bench

An interesting fact about PSG is that 5 of their starters had played in Serie A: Dollar, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kvara, and Diaz.
Hakimi played only one season at Inter and was immediately sold for huge plusvalenza, same more or less for Marquinhos at Roma, (who also had Salah, Ederson, (the keeper). It's further evidence of the league's decline, a temporary stay for players that quickly move on to bigger and better things. Kind of sad for a league that once featured the best in the world.

PSG was out of this world last night, could have score even more goals, but what impressed me the most was their passing and I can only dream of a Milan that can do the same at some point. The back heal by Dembele that contributed to their first goal was epic, as well as the unselfishness of Doue that could have taken a shot but instead spotted a wide open Hakimi for the tap in. It was perfection, something that should be studied in football academies.

I was paying attention to Kvara running up and down the pitch, defending, making great passes, including one that led to a goal, (the second I think), using both feet, scoring, and pictured Leao in his place. There's no question in my mind who's the better overall player and who would help Milan the most. Yeah, people love Leao's athleticism, speed, explosiveness, but Kvara is more fundamentally sound, doesn't take plays off, more of a team player, better shot, better passer, works harder, there's really no comparison.

Regarding Theo, honestly I don't want him to leave. I see him as a symbol of the club, can be forgiven for a bad season.

ONLY if it's good offer, AND an adequate replacement (i.e. udogie). Then maybe

As someone with a young daughter, this is upsetting cant lie. So glad he won

Respect

Luis Enrique needs more respect from fans

Won the treble with Barca.
Albeit yes over powered teams but many teams had great squads and still couldn’t win the ucl twice.

Insult to Injury.
European Super Cup to be played in ITALY :yikes:

Good for them

We need more private stadiums in Italy. Good for the league and hopefully will push our god forsaken stadium project over the line

Speaking of - wtf is going on with the stadium

Haven’t heard anything in MONTHS

I don’t think we want or need to sell Reijnders… but as a 27 year old player, he’s getting double the salary and getting the chance to compete for the premier league and champions league for one of the 3 best teams in the world. And play under arguably the best coach in the world, at least from a player’s perspective.

It sucks but with how shit our season has been, a few players are going to feel like they’ve outgrown us

2?

He only won one ( 2024 ) … 2021 was Conte’s
Ahh my bad. Still good though
2 finals and one scudetto.
With a team of mostly above average players but not stand out world class individuals.

Im happy inter lost but lets not act like we had the better season. Id take Inter season over our mickey mouse trophy any day.

Lets enjoy their loss but comparing us to them is insane.
No. I would never accept that 5-0 loss in CL final.

They still had a better season though, as they have CL next year, we don't .

wtf‘re u talkin bout? Exactly, he‘s symbol… symbol of decline for 2 1/2 years. He has been utter shit. This year was just the cherry on the cake.

Get rid of Theo asap. How can u not see it?

Some ppl‘re so incompetent in Football matters I‘d wish they manage Inter.

I think Inter’s cycle is over

They might still be decent in Italy, but I don’t see them making another deep CL run with this current squad, especially if Inzaghi leaves (I hope he does, I rate him)
Ironically their best chance to get a few more years out of it would probably have been Allegri. The "wrench in the wheel" factor of moving quickly for Allegri is not to be underestimated.

According to that we would have gotten rid of Pippo Inzaghi around 2004, it is not always that simple. Footballer careers can also go in waves, not only up and down.

Merda and Ladri don't have a Summer either, with Club World Cup obligations.
Minimum 3 more games, max 7 more games.
They'll be exhausted before the Season even starts.

There's a saying in Italian: "tutto fumo e niente arrosto", meaning all smoke and no roast, guess something like fancy but no end product.
Kvara is not a bad player overall but he certainly had a lot of games without any end product against us. I would even say he is one of the star players of recent Serie A history I´d be least nervous facing with Milan. Edit: If you give me the choice between facing Kvara or Lukaku it is Kvara any day.
