In Italy, a 22 year old striker needs a loan and can’t start important games because he isn’t yet “ready”.

There really is no reason to not play a talented 18/19 year old. If they are good enough they will shine through. This bizarre fear of young players doesn’t do the league any good.

EPL, Bundesfodder, La Liga and Ligue 1 all give talented players under 20 an extended run including in important games
