Which honestly says more about Pulisic than CDK. Pulisic put up those numbers in a chaotic, dysfunctional Milan side – CDK did it in a well-drilled, well-coached Atalanta team that played to his strengths. And yet... I look at the numbers, and sure, they're fine... but I just can't buy in.

There’s something about CDK that’s always felt off to me. Not my cup of tea. And no. this has nothing to do with Maldini. I was vocal about my doubts well before we signed him. Every time I watch him, I see a player who looks... meh. Not bad, not great – just perpetually underwhelming. His body language doesn’t exactly scream confidence. He disappears when things get tough. And mentally? I’m not sure the stability is there.

He landed in the perfect environment with Gasp. Structured system, clear role, less pressure. But the moment Atalanta took a dip, CDK dipped even harder. That’s not the kind of player I’d ever want us to spend 35M+ on.
Its gonna be a big test for him without Gasp.
We will see what he is made off i guess.

What talent does Bondo have?
What talent does zeroli have?

If you think these fodders are talented then I don’t know what to say. Maybe don’t watch football. And don’t post at all too maybe.
Bondo showed zero skills the few times he played, except passing the ball back or lateral a few meters here and there. Zeroli has been around a long time and hasn't progressed much, was on loan to Monza that hardly ever played him, and that's the worst team in the league.

Just put God‘s Soldier and grandeacm 1&2 on ignore. Feels liberating to remove the garbage from the timeline.

I don't see anything special about this zeroli kid. He probably needs a loan where he will play regular, maybe a serie b team

Haven‘t u seen Bondo playing at Monza? Against Juve, Milan, Fiorentina? He had a whole bunch of good matches esp w Palladino.

How many minutes had u seen from Zeroli? He‘s physical, strong, good areal threat. I was impressed how he lead the primavera to the youth league final 2024.

This brings us back to the point that Maresca raised. Italians have absolutely no plan n no patience when it comes to evaluating young players. Nevertheless they're surprised that the national team is a failure. And they complain all year that there are no Italians and home-grown players in the squad.

Jashar looks good, but I don't want to get emotionally attached to any target this summer until he's officially in our jersey. :o

It seems that many clubs want him, and Milan without European competition is not in a good position to attract anyone. Apart from the starter role and reputation, we offer nothing. :o

Not sure if Atalanta fans agreed with you.

I mean, we payed somewhat like 35M plus bonuses for him. Atalanta gave us back 20M plus bonuses. He's had a meh first season. Then he started well this season until November, got injured and looked as lost and depressed as always ever since. He scored one miserable goal between November and his last match day in May.

I don't feel scammed by Atalanta TBH. I feel much more scammed by Brugge.
Just for fun, I checked it, and CDK in his last 27 matches has 3 goals and 3 assists. 3 goals and 1 assist of that is coming from 20th place Monza, and 30th place Sturm Graz in UCL. 2 assists in the rest of the 25 matches.

Hard pass. A bullet dodged here.

Seems like Allegri is gonna drop the team deeper to protect the backline more, slow the tempo a bit and fill the midfield with more ball players(of course still room for the runners who will cover for the old heads.) I bet his thinking too is that we can push up Leao and Pulisic into more space and try to release them quicker.

Really simple, old school coaching but I think our team is more suited to this. I think Fofana will be a breakout player too under Allegri+not being asked to be a tempo setting player.
Fofana was already a breakout player under Fonseca, but nobody acknowledged it.
Fofana, who will be surrounded better coming season (I hope) will become a 50-70M player under Allegri.
