I used to enjoy this Italy Downfall, mainly due To Donnarumma being the protagonist for NT and Antagonist for us.

But i really wants to see more and more Italian talent blooming at Milan. The way Camarda failed to show a teeth last year kinda depressing.

We’ve had plenty of Italian talents in the past, but none made it to the big stage while being a Milan backbone. That’s why i hope Allegri can make it work for Camarda, Zeroli, Liberali, Torriani, Bartesaghi even Terraciano.

Without Milan & Juve having a strong Italian core, Italy NT will not find its way to rule over Europe.

But then again,

Some people like Bondo that only played limited minutes in 4 matches for Milan in addition to 52 for Monza, 39 for Nancy in Ligue 2, and 3 for Reggina also in B. Didn't really follow him at Monza so I went to TransferMarket to check out his stats.

Bondo will be 22 on Sept 15, 177 cm tall, 0 goals 0 assists for us with 1 yellow card. Appeared in 27 matches with Monza last season with 0 goals, 0 assists, 4 yellow cards and 1 red. Overall 54 appearances in Serie A and 3 in Coppa Italia, with a total of 1 goal and 2 assists. At Nancy, French Serie B, played 34 matches with 2 goals and 1 assist with the team relegated to Serie C. Went to Reggina in B on a free that after only 3 matches quickly sold him to Monza for 700K that we bought for 10 million, with a contract until 2029.

I know stats don't tell the whole story but his offensive output has been practically zero, even in League 2. Listed as a central midfielder, Bondo is not a DM but mostly a box to box. Watching him in his little time at Milan he didn't seem particularly fast or strong so I fail to see what's so positive about him. Would look to loan him out because if he's given a major role in our midfield we're really in trouble, prefer Pobega as a 5th, 6th mid because he at least as a good shot from distance and useful for the lists.

PS: these are my opinions that some might disagree with and explain why I'm wrong and that's fine, we all have our points of view and if Bondo turns out to be a solid player I will be the first to admit I was wrong and be happy for the player.
