Truth. I am questioning whole concept of fandom. Why do I/we bother with this team? What is the true value of going through the shit most of us go through? To say that we are real fans.... unlike those dreaded gloruhunters /bandwagonistas over there? Ok.

I started supporting in 2002 because of Shevchenko. The closest player we have to that level is Leao (yeah yeah Lm3@0 isn't fit to tie Sheva's shoes etc). We were fairly successful in Europe from then till 2007. That nearly 20 years ago.

Most new fans are attracted to some kind of success or glory. What do we have other than the same colours as that team? Other than being "his dad's team", why should I make my little son suffer with me?
