Leaf I do agree with most of your Leao defending and I agree that the hate he gets is overboard. I’m on your side there 100%

I also agree that some of the Leao personal attacks are pathetic, unnecessary and uncalled for.

But attacking the other user personally for insulting Leao is not it IMO. Attacking Leao isn’t an attack to you personally. Fans taking the insults to their favourite players as something personal is something that always creates conflict.

Secondly, Leao won’t read this forum, he doesn’t know about this comments. So he won’t care or even know about.

Meanwhile, Fupsiroe does read the forum, he will read your reply, so attacking him personally is different IMO.

I’m basing my hope on the fact that we silently locked up Tare and Allegri and it was hinted that those deals were agreed months in advance. Same with Reijnders, seems like it was closed early and wasn’t in any real threat of falling apart.

The Musah deal to me looks like it’s done and we’re just waiting for July to formalize it. Probably same with Xhaka. Modric will happen after thr CWC.

We’re working under a different MO this summer. The old Furlani method was identifying a dozen options and waiting until the last moment to make the best deal. It doesn’t seem like we’re doing that now, or else we would have still been without a coach or even a DS.

The only reason Brazil dominates is the rules are bent for them to succeed.

They're the only league allowed to extend their summer market to September when other South American leagues last until the first week of August.

They can make entire changes almost mid-season whereas other teams are stuck with their teams.

It is. But its easier to cook when your in mid season and majority of the other clubs are tired due to already playing a whole season. It's no different if the South American teams played a CWC in November and December after already playing 573672 games in their calendar year between all the different championships playoffs and Cup games.

Ligue 1 isn't a serious league. People sulking off PSG whove effectively killed off the league and the broadcasters don't even want to pay to show the league on their channels anymore.

Cycles. And tbh Brasilian or Argentine teams have always dominated the Libertadores. Back in the 60's/70's Argentinian clubs won 9 out of 11. And since 2000 only 4 other nations clubs have won the tournament since.
