For me, a complete midfield needs all kinds of profiles. Guerra doesn’t score much. Fofana doesn’t either. Xhaka has a few. So I’d add a big, physical midfielder who can do both phases – ideally better offensively – and who can still grow defensively. Italian. U20 World Cup Golden Ball winner. My name is Cesare Casadei. Richard Rios would be our best buy.

It really should be Jashari instead of Xhaka and Rios instead of Guerra.
Both players would prove their worth instantly and prove to be great value.

Absolute baller



Modric, Fofana, Jashari, Rios and Adli - would be an incredible midfield.

You have to think that Allegri would ideally want an experienced CB back there and even better if they're Italian - There really isn't many realistic options for CB's over 30 that make sense.
I know people would hate it to happen, but I could easily see Romagnoli returning. Apparently there's a dispute between him and the management, relating to a contract bonus..so he could want out.
I think Allegri prefers a CB like Romagnoli, to a Tomori or Pavlovic.
