Personally to me, Defensive Mids need a lot of time to mature, I remember growing up 23-24 was extremely young much less 19-20, now they play full u21 teams.

Football has changed, but humans still mature the same way.

He always had these good periods but overall, he's average af. I'm not fooled by his few good games (after tons of bad games). Same goes for Hakan, after great role against Torino but I just knew that it was moment of briliance and that he'll be shit after that. And he didn't surprise me tho.

Only Ben have his place in first XI next season in mid.

We want to grab Vertonghen for free in the summer.

It looks like Gazidis has failed with Emirates, as the sponsorship will drop from 14 (plus bonuses) to 10m--he better have a way to overcome this, for his sake.

Another rumor is that Elliott have no intention of selling, but want to be the ones to revitalize Milan themselves.

Moncada is apparently very hard at work, while there are rumors of Milan management saying that they need 5 new players, two are Zacardo (from Racing) and De Paul (from Udinese).

Gazidis and M&B are locked in battle over what should be done, apparently. Gazidis wants young players, while M&B want more variety.

As far as that last one goes, those reports say that Gazidis is secure because he is working on behalf of Elliott--however, I feel like the utter failure of the youth policy, and the success of M&B's selection of players, coupled with the fact that Gazidis is getting worse sponsorship deals (it seems) and with his contract ending this summer, I'm not sure how secure he really is. I can see him being replaced.

I just thought I'd share the rumors, I dunno why, lol. I think I'm trying to avoid this Hakan discussion and who has been our best manager the last few years.

I agree, Bennacer looks like a real gem, and Kebab is inconsistent af, but it thought Kessie wasn't able to play like this for 10 minutes, let alone one full game against Juventus.

I put Sinisa and Montella together. Both had good points and bad points. Berlu sacked Sinisa before the season was even over, and Montella had lost it so completely he was the first manager I was openly hoping would get sacked.

It's difficult to compare coaches when they've had completely different teams but I wouldn't be so sure of Pioli having done worse than Montella or even Sinisa. Milan has played pretty well since he was appointed under the most disastrous circumstances

He might earn a starting spot alongside Romagnoli, but as a free agent, super-experienced and versatile (rcb, lcb, lb), he would be ok even if he doesn't.

We are not getting quality backups that earn less than 3m gross anyway.

Meh, post Bosman rule you can't really fully separate player values and transfers from the economic side.

Of course Maldoban should do most of the work (within certain parameters agreed upon with coach and the other management) and only get approval form Gazidis, but the financial impact is too big to ignore the non sporting management and give the sporting area autonomy.

I think Gazidis opposes players that have high costs and have neither resell value nor revenue generation (like Zapata).
