With strong midfield, we can live without proper reinforcements on the right side. We would have one of the strongest midfields in the league.
If Maldini gets Bakayoko on loan, Tonali on paid loan, and Brahim on loan, than he is definitely king of lowballing

With that squad, we should make serious attempt on European League front.
Ibra is high risk = high reward type of situation. If he gets injury, we would be in serious trouble. Nevertheless, he is capable to score 20+ goals, which is something we didn't have in previous years.

Bennacer, Kessie, Tonali and Bakayoko is phenomenal mid. Add Pobega who'll get some minutes

While I belive ibra is important if we close the deals we are planing I think we can cover ibra if he were to get injured. Rebic and leao although not the same as ibra we could cover that position if need be.

I really hope that Kalulu runs fast. I watched over the highlights from last season. Man.... one of our weakness is we press high therefore we conceded when the ball went past our CBs

I think that backup #9 is needed as well but I guess that we can survive winter mercato, then we'll see.


Only way to have Chiesa type of signing is to sell Paqueta+Samu but I have feel it's kinda unrealistic to expect.

Samu brings a lot that Pioli asks for in that role. Maybe his finishing is what I want to be better but it is what it is. For all we know, Diaz could find his place in that role rather than backup AM to overtake Samu. Either way, both strengthening the squad and having an actual good bench is key. We've seen Pioli can actually make good substitutions and now would allow us to rest key players so they don't get burnt out. Only position I would really like to see us invest now is RB. Not sure Kalulu will overtake that role this season alone.
