We need to buy Luis and the Ecuadorian, send the latter on loan to Benfica.

Chelsea’s asking price for Bakayoko is absurd. If they are not willing to come down from 30M+, then it’s time to move on. I won’t lose sleep over Bakayoko, especially as there are a few talented, young alternatives.

MN: The meeting between Maldini and Florentino's agent has just ended. It is clear that Milan is trying to see if they can sign him in case the Bakayoko deal fails.

Yep, totally crazy. We want the signing soon as well so lining up Florentino and issuing Chelsea an ultimatum is perfect.

Chiesa is my dream signing.

Post like this gives me hope.

Chiesa wants to leave, next year Comisso won't be able to get much profit on Chiesa, relations of Maldini and Chiesa's agent, Paqueta in the deal etc etc

So many things to consider but I have hope that this transfer can materialize.

I have faith in Maldini and even if it's doesn't materialize, then also this Mercato has been great.

Chiesa as a dream signing? Might wanna up your standards abit bro. Upamecano? Yep. Jadon Sancho? Sure. Thiago? No problem. But fking chiesa ? Cmon

Moises Caicedo denied rumours about Milan:

?It?s not true, there are no negotiations for me. I am focused on Independiente del Valle and I want to continue having minutes"

I think thats a good idea. Maldini just need to collaborate with his old buddy. Why include a third party like an agent?

AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has suggested that rumours linking the club with Tiemoue Bakayoko and Florentino Luis are wide of the mark.

Reports earlier on Friday suggested that Milan have turned their attentions back to Florentino Luis of Benfica as they are struggling to close a deal for Bakayoko.

Contacts between the clubs and the player will continue over the next few days, with the player pushing to return to the Rossoneri, but it appears Chelsea are not backing down on their demands which means things have not gone as quick as Milan wanted.

Calciomercato.com then stated that Milan are struggling to close the deal for Bakayoko with Chelsea, and as such they have met with the entourage of Florentino. Maldini and the player’s agent apparently held a meeting at a well-known hotel in the centre of Milan.

Maldini spoke to Sportitalia on Friday night and his comments were transcribed by Luca Cilli on Twitter.

“Bakayoko and Florentino? Honestly, you’re a little off the mark, but let’s see. Do we need a midfielder? For the moment we are so happy. Bakayoko is a great player.”

Mazen has eclipsed everyone. The style is cartoonish, yet with a delivery with such sincerity that it sells the over-the-top opinions.

Why am I so entertained?

Maldini: "Are Bakayoko and Florentino Luis targets? Honestly, you're a little off track, but let's see. Do we need a midfielder? At the moment we're fine like this.?

Not surprised. The kid is getting consistent playing time as a sweeper and DM.

It would be a downgrade to come to primavera.

Florentino Luis is a potential phenomenon and has a higher ceiling than Bakayoko so would be a better investment for the future. However, Bakayoko would be the wiser signing right now given that we've already lost 2 highly experienced mids (Bona + Biglia) and have just signed Tonali + Diaz.

A midfield consisting of Benny, Kessie, Tonali and Florentino would be too inexperienced and I doubt the latter would get enough playing time to reach his potential.

Good.

Lets sign Soumare and Chelski can keep Bakayoko and try robbing someone else of 30+ million.
