Why do people keep giving money to EA for their trash games? :fp:
Have switched to PES despite getting FIFA 21 this year.

And gotta say, the gameplay is just gorgeous.

And the licenses bit doesnt even bother me that much considering you can get option files. Option files make it even better actually.

The only really annoying thing is their BS regen system.

Much better in my opinion.

Transfers are a bit iffy and they really need to work on their dated ui. Their training system also needs a massive overhaul. The thing I like about it is that PES give detailed stats and have detailed tactics. Although I am a bit annoyed that I cant find clean sheet stats.

And as I mentioned, their regens are horrendous. When Messi retires a 17 yr old version of him pops up which is fuckin ridiculous. Hopefully they will do a massive overhaul considering they decided to take a year off this year.

Edit: Forgot to mention tho - the refereeing is horrendous. You get fouls called for even the slightest of touches while the AI gets away with murder.

It's no secret Theo is a very mediocre defender, all his value is in his offensive game. When it comes to pure defense, I rate Calabria higher than Theo
Theo is an average defender and WC attacker. And I am satisfied with that.

In fact, there are not many LBs in the world today who are good defenders tbh.

The FB positions have become more about attacking output in current football.

What we need is a faster left sided CB next to Theo to cover for him. Romagnoli unfortunately is not that.

Would love it if we get his bro but thats impossible haha.

No such thing as a world class defender these days because the modern game restricts defenders so much .. the best defenders of today are susceptible to making big errors that you did not see as often with the older generation rather they are known for their attacking prowess

I wouldn?t say that Theo is bad defensively, rather that?s not what is asked of him. It?s inevitable that when you move up the field you leave a gap.
In fact he has the pace to get back in position after his forward surges. He?s strong in the air and physically. Don?t forget how he covered for an out of shape Romagnoli against Lukaku and Inter.
It?s true that duels aren?t his strongest suit but it?s not so bad to the point when he becomes a defensive liability.

Anyone saying he?s a defensive liability is just regurgitating commentator?s hot takes. He doesn?t just have the pace, he?s the fastest..not just strong, the most strong. also the most handsome

Theo Hernandez has immense potential, but he must improve not only his defensive skills but also, the ability to build from behind without relying on his speed.

What we really need is a fast CB capable of covering for Theo when he makes those forward runs. Most of the times when Romagnoli is getting roasted it?s covering for Theo.

Theo is good enough in defensive duels, they don?t dribble him easily, but he needs to improve positioning, sometimes he also covers too late.

Milan fans are not doing things better here, most of them want Theo to attack and when he does not they say ?He had a bad game?

They didn't make either of those games, they only published them.

And the longer they're in business here, the likelier it will be that they kill this IP completely

Mykolenko is a good defender, so is Celik. Wan-Bisaka if I have to mention a name we can’t afford. There are still some good FB at defending.

Milenkovic is also playing FB now at Fiorentina, Mukiele, Tomiyasu, Simakan have all played both CB and FB so they should be good at defending for a FB.

I have been playing PES from 11 to 13, and returned again from 17 to today.
FIFA is a rich company, they sell 10x what Konami sells, and they?ve got rich licenses, but despite this I don?t think it?s a better game than PES at all, there were also many years when critics favored PES over FIFA.

It ties in with what Raz said about dumber users ... the licensing alone has helped FIFA over PES in this way, because the average simpleton can't just fix it with an easy pass.

Yep

Career mode in Fifa 20 and garbage defending was the final straw.

Yet, still got FIFA 21 holding out hopes. Severely dissappointed again.

If PES could get their regens, refereeing, transfers and training fixed alongwith revamping their UI it will be a superior game to FIFA on every level. Dont give a shit about licenses as there are always option files.

What is up with Milenkovic playing RB? Is he better in that role than CB?

Asking Theo to play further up is like asking Paqueta to be a trequartista.

Theo's entire game revolves around him running at speed with the ball, forcing the opposing defender into making a decision, and once he gets going it is impossible to stop him without fouling. He's not an exceptionally quick player, but he's exceptionally fast. Meaning he needs a bit of space to get to full speed, and then it's game over. Playing him further up the pitch makes the playmaking runs he starts from behind the midfield negligible.

This, exactly. Nobody can stop him when he's running at full speed. He gets more space and opportunities to do that starting further back.

What injury? he's being protected as predicted.

He picked up an injury in the first day of national duty. He was even supposed to come back to Milanello but they decided to treat him with the Squadra. He remained part of the group but still wasn't fully fit. When he came back we rushed him immediately which apparently made his injury worse

We did the same mistake with his previous injury as well. He was out for 3 months and we threw his directly as a starter against merda. We were forced to do it though as we literally had no other CBs

A player like him should work to become more complete and versatile.

There is a money potential in fifa even for regular users.

I sold 5 accounts for around $2k and I still have a very strong account.

Its dumb how kids spend their money these days.
