He was the best player on the field bar Hakan to me. For a team like Bodo/Glimt in that league he was electric. If management are interested, I can see why. If he's outperforming Calabria who was stellar last game and was really good at the end of last season then surely he must have some quality? No? :fp:

don't :fp: me you little twat

Calabria have never been stellar in his life, he just looks less bad in some games. You don't know if management actually are interested, Pioli probably got a question about him in the presser and answered politely like coaches usually do. I'm not saying he doesn't have some quality but people are talking about him like he's the second coming of Mbappe.

I remember a similar match up we had around 1996 against IFK G?teborg. IIRC they kicked us out of CL group stage and Blomqvist and Andersson played really good so we bought them. They didn't do shit here.

Say what people will, but he was a standout CB in the league last season. If it's a favourable deal I'd be happy with it. He can be good for us and brings leadership and experience to the team.
He May good in Serie A.
But Come on.. Leadership?

Why so angry? Having to result to an insult cause I used an emoji? :head:

Calabria was stellar, even if it was "only" against Bologna, the other night. He has had other top games the last couple years, and a good string of games at the end of last season. His problem is consistency as me and many others have said, and whether he can actually play a season at a good level without his type shitfest of game streaks.

As for management being interested, I said "if" they are. None of us know. Let's not pretend otherwise. And no, he's nowhere near Mbappe level, otherwise he wouldn't be playing for Bodo/Glimt, but he looks like a real prospect. If his value is low (last year of contract) and fits the supposed profile management are looking for then it's a low-risk high-reward signing.

Obviously we must sell Paq before buying/loaning another attacker.

The Hauge kid definatelly impressed though.

I know nothing about Huage other than his stats. and what he did to us yesterday, but he seems to fit the profile of Milan?s project. Moncada has probably been up all night scouting this boy.

Low risk signing doesnt hurt much. If we never try him, we will never know

Agree with Pingu. Low risk and high reward. Hedge funds love it.

Bodo would like to sell him and keep him on loan for a season so that they can win their league. It can be a great deal because he might be worth even more at the end of next season.

It's not about his dribbling, the composure, leadership and class was impressive for a 20 y.o.

Even if we ditch Paqs, we still need someone to rotate with Rebić. Leao will probably rotate Ibra and Colombo won't get much playing time (maybe with injuries or with many games in short time). Then i hope we find someone to replace Samu. I doubt it's gonna be Saelemaekers all the way... And its still quite possible, that we loan Maldini and Colombo.

So we still need one starter material for wings.

i'm not saying we shouldn't get Hauge if he actually costs pennies AKA "low risk"... i'm just saying that last nights game doesn't prove much at all and that he wasn't THAT good.

It's all about pricing. For a certain price he can be a good business and result some plusvalenza in the future cause he probably is good enough to play elsewhere in Serie A even if you think the dude is not good enough for Milan.

I get that, and sure it was a single game so it can't prove how good/bad he is but he nearly single-handedly carried them to a draw offensive-wise. Got a fine goal, a nice assist. His through-ball in 92nd minute was beautiful and luckily the other dude skied it. Amongst that, he was nearly always a threat when they played into our half.

I'd like to know how Maldini thinks, is he realy go after the reinforcements for the top three positions on the field and limit the space for Daniel even more, I can't see Daniel going on loan

Daniel is better off being a wing back. He has that talent in tackling just like his dad.
