We'll sell it like they're getting the next Ashley Cole... lucky Pep is leaving city soon so he doesnt give a feck otherwise there'd be a serious bidding war... dont try to rip us off, dennis wise.

If it turns out to be fake news then yeah, would be funny. If there's a deal in place though, they will dominate the league for many years. They would turn into City, we would turn into Arsenal. No fun at all...
Nah. Milan wont be arsenal. Other clubs will fall before milan. More money will flow into milan to challenge these inter bums

PIF/Saudia Arabia made a clear decision to invest into the EPL due to all the advantages that come with that, if they would have wanted Inter or another italian club they already would have bought them. They are not going to buy 2 major clubs and yes Newcastle will soon be a pain in the ass and a major club, money rules the game.

Imagine someone is losing their hearing but is in denial about it. He complains it is because other ppl are whispering or mumbling. His wife convinces him to get tested. when the doc says hearing aids are needed, he says they’re too expensive. The wife says get the best ones, consider it a gift from me

Some gifts cannot be received without admitting your need

Epl holiday schedule is truly insane. Can you imagine Milan playing this kind of schedule?? Half the squad is already at the infirmary just with regular matches lol.

Why?

Theo is worth more than 80m. I like the fact that reports are that we see Theo as unsellable and that if anyone wants to buy Theo it will be for an absurd amount, because we don't need to sell.

And I actually agree with you on Daniel. The kid looks so good in one-on-one defensive situations, he can tackle (and I'm not talking about the Seedorf video when he was a child) and he has the attacking instincts of a modern full-back. I honest-to-God think he would be a good modern LB.

40m each.

I had so much hope for Bakayoko doing well, and it seems we'll be forced to rely on hope as it doesn't seem like AFCON is getting canceled.
I'm still disappointed they loaned him out for Bakayoko

Not sure how Pioli wasn't convinced by Pobega yet thought someone with the characteristics of Bakayoko would work? Imagine him having that flourishing season at Milan instead of Torino...

Sometimes I wonder why religious people don't understand how silly it all is.

Basically like believing in Santa Claus - children stop doing that after a certain age... But for religion they go to war.

Well everybody need to believe in something with a grande purpose.

I've seen people who rejects religion, but believe in horoscope on a daily basis
Or some Alien believers cult.
Or a football club fanatics who simply couldnt describe why he loves a certain club badly.

Like this cult, who believes Milan will rise again after a decade of mockery, it's just a different kind of faith.

Ousmane Dembele asked Barca for 20m net + 20 million commission to renew, they rejected and he'll probably leave for free.

If you look at how many free agents there are all around Europe this year it's pretty clear that there is a new trend to let your contract run out and then with all the leverage in hand make insane demands. Expect to see this more and more in the next couple of years.

You can thank Juve among others for starting this trend by paying scrubs like Ramsey and Rabiot 7m net, making agents and players realize you can get more that way than otherwise.

If Pobega stayed in Milan, I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't make it to NT nor get all the deservedly hype.

Also our last experience with Baka went well, nobody would expect such a downfall

Isn't this they way NFL player get high paycheck? Moving around for no fee at all?

But yea, at the end the riches will win.
Milan slipped at the worst decade possible, the beginning of digital exposure.

I don't agree, think of how much Bakayoko has played and if he wasn't shit would probably play a lot more. Pobega would have received so much more exposure at a club like Milan too

I don't understand why people still bring up that last stint, how are the roles being asked at all similar? Under Gattuso he was asked to just clean up the midfield but with Pioli the double is required to do so much

I just dont see it
If the main attacking outlets don't pickup injuries (Leao, Rebic, Diaz) Milan is likely running away with first

With no CL the rate of injuries will go down. A healthy Milan will win the scudetto

But if Krunic is used again as a winger the side will likely fight for 4th

The angle was that experience would matter and that Bakayoko would be an added strength in our CL group stage. Here we are 6 months later, no CL, no Pobega and everyone sweating with fear over having to trust Bakayoko in January.

nobody would care about pobega if he would stay here- he would have chances but without CV he would be far behind everyone else - look on kalulu or gabbia last season(??) :fp:

also other thing is... this summer we had kessie and benna as a starters and tonali as one to check/develop
so its smarter to go for someone with experience (crap its baka who is worse than grande meite) rather than 2nd rookie (2nd after tonali) when we have serieA and ucl games

smart loans are way to go for youngsters - pobega getting a lot of playing time and shows his qualities, colombo in serieB shows he deserves loan to some serieA team where he will be considered as serious 2nd option (not like pelle with us)
reality is top club is usually not a good place to develop youngsters - sure you can have theo, leao when you can see players are ready to take next step... but majority of youngsters are not like that - they need time, believe and less pressure.

I don't disagree with loaning out Pobega thats fine

The issue is when the replacement is someone who is such an awful fit. If anything Milan has proven to be a place where young talent can develop and Pobega proved he can play at this level last season. Lets not forget Bakayoko still has that haunting 15m buyout clause that activates under undisclosed conditions
