That wasn’t even a foul lmao
Pussy league

Btw this is the time Milan should always showcase games so that I can watch

Thanks fucktards

Anyway Venezia city looks beautiful.

If it’s called Venezia that is. Don’t care
The best part of the game is the view of the Venice canals and the sea.

Second half:

More of the same. Venezia attacking down that Theo-Pavlovic flank. Milan recovering the ball and starting counter attacks.
Jimenez-Tomori's flank is definitely more stable than Pavlo-Theo flank, who have been nervous and flakey.
Fofana is locked in this match, whilst Tiji not really helping cover on the left side.

Minute 53: Fofana sparks a counter. Rafa on the outside flank, and Fofana passes down the middle (fuckinng idiot, should have passed ahead of Leao for him to run onto). Rafa struggling to physically impose himself onto defenders, and it's actually Pulisic coming in from the right side who gets the ball and takes a shot. Corner won.

Minute 62: Tammy with a counter, Leao on the left, Tiji on the right, instead of passing, he takes the shot over the bar.... waste of a chance.
Leao in the last two games (this one included) have shown a willingness to defend and work for the team. It's a good sign, but at the same time he needs support from teammates. 68th minute counter, and Gimenez fizzes a ball to Rafa, too fast and too far ahead, forces him to run to the left flank to keep it in play. Rafa visibly frustrated at the service.

70th Minute: RLC with a great dribble to get away from the opponents and crosses for Gimenez to head. Gimenez should have done a lot better there.
He was under zero pressure.

74th minute: Walker and Tomori do well to win the ball off of a Venezia attack. Gets it to RLC to counter. He has 3 teammates to pass to, takes the worst option and sends the ball into row z. Idiotic and brainless. Two players were in better shooting positions.

Fofana has been imperious this half. Dribbling himself out of trouble and blocking passing lanes. Right flank feels so stable today with him here. Of course I know it's just Venezia, but you can only beat whats in front of you.
Walker can play as backup to Jimenez or even as an extra CB. Passing is great, but he cannot get forward like he used to. As a cheap alternative, I would keep him for next season and spend our money in other areas.
Gimenez has been growing into the game. Takes time to get himself up to speed, but he gets himself into good positions on the counter.
Pulisic is stabalizing the left wing after Rafa was subbed off. He's not as direct attack-wise, but with him on the left (or wherever he plays) it does not feel like we'll lose the ball needlessly when moving up to attack. Rafa on the other hand always feels like he'll get knocked off the ball and the opponents will spark a counter from it.

85th minute: Venezia with a rare attack (surprise, surprise, down that Theo-Pavlovic flank), Pavlovic blocks for a Venezia corner. As much as I've complained about that left flank, I do feel like Pavlovic has actually grown into the game. Whole backline feels a lot more stable these past 25 minutes.

89th minute: I take back what I said. Another Venezia attack down the Theo-Pavlo flank. Their atatck puts in a lazy low cross into the box, and NOBODY steps up to intercept that ball. If Venezia had scored that chance, this team would have been fucked. Venezia should have done better, and Milan would have conceded on that chance, poor drop in concentration from that left defense. Off the Venezia corner after that, the Walker-Tomori flank prove once again that they are the more defensively stable pairing, taking the ball back and clearing it down the pitch to safety.

95th minute: Off a clever free kick won by Theo, WHAT A THROUGHBALL FROM TIJI! Santi did well to hold off his defender and lob over the keeper from a tight angle. The ability is there, but he needs to (a) get used to the league, and (b) get used to his teammates. I can see him scoring a lot once he does so.

Good solid win, but it's only Venezia.
We're still 9th as well.

I admire that you write all this on a Serie A game when we sit 9th with 4 games left. Kudos to your dedication
