Worst possible outcome. What I don't get is why did we half ass it?! Could have either thrown the game away and played it all with subs, or played it all with starters and beat their asses. This way we just tired the players more and eventually lost anyway.

Once again the 1st leg cost us. I really don't get Allegri... either the Coppa is important or not. But it sucks to reach the semis every year then crash out because of complacency in the 1st leg. We really could have done without the extra games.

The players could have enjoyed a good rest OR a defeat to Juventus with a possible double and them finishing trophyless. We got neither.

Mexes was the man of the match for me. He was immense, Silva was great too. Mexes really brings it for the big matches, he had so much class and his long-range passing is so impressive and underrated... it will be huge for us versus a team like Barca who play with such a high-line.
