you mean like how they picked hernanes. Wanted hernanes. And didn't sign him.

Also like Pastore, where Galliani got lazy.

just examples of players we missed on for reasonably low fees.

We could have been set with those 2

Its the main reason we are far behind good teams.
Most people say we need 100mil every season but having a lot of money isnt enough.
Being smart is & I will take being smart with 10mil every year over 100mil while acting stupid.
Deals like Hernanes , Pastore would have kept us up there.
Imagine us not having TS

Bro, Im sorry to break it to you, we can't afford Hernanes. Let alone thr hyped Brazilians

well in that case we are in a sorry state of affairs,

We might as well set our hopes on trying to win the Europa League next year, and watch Juve dominant the league next year.

Okay, so the agent of Honda has denied that CSKA have accepted any offer from Lazio but talks have started.

Could mean that Hernanes could be sold but I highly doubt it, the Lazio owner has apparently promised 3 top class players to compete with the big boys next season. Honda is still their main target though.

--

Speaking of CSKA, they have apparently signed Mario Fernandes from Gremio, I don't think they will let Honda go on the cheap, they will rather keep him and invest more to compete. Lots of big spending clubs in Russia to compete with, they are risking their CL status.

And people forget... players in thius price/age range, almost never lose you money.

Heck even huntelaar, who was an epic flop lost us 1 mil total. Boriello made us money.

and then you hit it big with a kaka, he makes you ALOT of money.

Where as Ronaldinho, the bigger name, just lost us lots and lots.

Rather harsh considerin he was played out of position and when he did play upfront he had no wingers to feed him

He had ronaldinho who led serie A in assists.

He was a flop. He's not strong, doesn't move enough. Not a serie A player.

So you jsut gunna ignore the fact that Borriello was the main striker in that season. And that most of Huntelaar's appearences came off the bench and if he did start it was on the wing.

That team was made to get the best out of Dinho no one else, :fp: @ Pato playin as a right winger :fp: that Borriello did more trackin back then the wingers did that season.

Lulz @ Dinho being a winger, im talkin about proper wingers whos game is about beatin the fb and gett in crosses,. Not some lazy bum who had to be moved into a left winger position because he hurt the team when he lost the ball in central positions. Dinho a SS or a CAM, BUT a winger, NO.

Aquilani and Montolivo, two parallel lines 04/26/2012

Alberto Aquilani, after being an unused substitute in the match against Genoa, increasingly moves away from the sell-out.

The seasonal attendance, counted according to the parameters agreed with Liverpool (1 for appearances as a starter, 0.5 for those from the bench), are still at an altitude of 23, two blocks from reaching mandatory.

The midfielder's agent Roman, Franco Zavaglia, showed no particular optimism regarding the redemption of his client: an important signal that combines numerous exclusions in recent weeks.

Notwithstanding that Milan could still aim for a discount on the agreed amount in summer (6 million), one should question the motives of this drastic change of direction.

L'Aquila, in the first four months of the season, had taken a leading role, ensuring quality and assists the whole maneuvers Rossoneri.

The ankle injury that forced him to a long process conservative, to question everything, so as to prevent the achievement (which first appeared almost certain) of the 25 total appearances.

Nothing is written yet, but judging from what happened last month, it seems highly unlikely that the former red and yellow is used continuously in this season finale.

It appears increasingly likely the rotation with Riccardo Montolivo, which was in competition last summer to get to the Devil: two lines that, at this point, it is difficult to cross.

We (B & G) are happy with Muntari and won't even spend 6 million on Aquilani. Yes, he's had problems since he's back from his injuries. But FFS he's been played at CDM. We have no midfielders who can pass, even with Montolivo, we should be looking to keep Aquilani.

But no, we want other freebies and bargain bin players who fit Allegri's "tactics". FFS, Nocerino is started game after game...

And to you guys who are there dreaming that saving 6 million on Aquilani = we can use that 6 mil + however much to buy a "quality" or "WC" midfield. You can forget about that. Saving 6 million on Aquilani = paying off the salaries of Rino and Ambro's renewals (rumoured at about 1 mil + 1.5 mil respectively, which means 2 + 3 with tax). This is just depressing to see Ambrosini back based on 1 or 2 good performances this season...

Next year, our midfield will be the same, except with Montolivo. If he's injured, we are back to this shit that we are watching now: Nocerino as a starter.

what about marko arnautovic? he has the skills but laked the seriousnes back in the day, but now a bit aged i think he could work great on the same position boateng is playing. he's not expensive plus i think both would benefit from it in terms of rotation, and also i think arnautovic has the abilities to challange boateng as a starter in that position.

Nocerino is a guaranteed starter next season. Even a blind person could see that

His goals have convinced our fickle management

Wow.... returning Maxi & Aqui and renewing with fucking Gattuso and Ambrosini... Are you fucking kidding me? :fp:

:fp:

Despite his injury problems, Aquilani is still a million times better passer than anyone we currently have. He would be a steal for 6million I can't believe we are letting him go :fp:

you read it wrongly, are you expecting '12/13 w/o senatore? if both maxi and aqui out then its maybe traore and Tevez (unlikely) or another striker in.

but expecting less playing time for both captain and vice captain.
