ok lets remove ibra from this current squad and see how well we cope especially with injuries in place. ibra is injury resistant, he is a physical beast and the only players that can replace ibra are messi and cr7, but you clearly don't seem to understand this. ibra guarantees us consistency throughout the entire season, which no other striker apart from messi and ronaldo offer atm. the very fact we won serie a with a midfield of gattuso - mvb - seedorf laments how much of a game changer ibra is. the very fact ibra can win games on his own shows who ibra is. it's not like he wasn't doing this before, inter were just as ibra dependant as we are.

The same could be said for Silva, except far worse (cauz our backups are uber crap)

BOTH Ibra and Silva are crucial to the team

leo is getting fire another fiasco

Nah - think cynically.

He helped B&G con fans so we dont have to buy any players while also signalling PSG intent to go after the best players on the planet.

He renews ties with Milan and puts everyone else on notice that PSG is a real player

Ibra was fine at Barca , 45 games 21 goals 13 assists is good.
He didn't get on with some player's but was not a flop .

At 30 going on 31 I would sell Ibra before Silva any day.

And that it was one of the main reasons why we lost the title.Quite frankly, I do not have anything against Ibra. As I said before, he is a wonderful player, a great CF that last year became a pussycat in the area with exception of last 3-4 games where he returned to be the beast that I have seen before on him. For me, if he wants to be trequartista let him be. I do not have a problem at all, but do not hold the other forwards in the team responsible because everybody has to adapt to him and his style of play specially forwards becoming MFs and have Urby and Nocerino waiting in the box.

Well the sheik needs to jerk off or join the bunga bunga parties if he wants instant gratification.

Win Ligue 1 and get out of the group stage first, then worry about the elite talent.

This whole Berlusconi family and Galliani media circus is just :fp::fp::fp::fp:

If Thiago stays after all this circus, after negotiating for a 10 mill salary with PSG he's not going to be satisfied with his 4 mill salary at Milan any more. So we'll keep him but have to give him a raise. :fp: Berlusconi better cover it from his Bunga Bunga cash fund.

In the end we'll probably end up selling him to Barca for a lower fee.

Seems to me like Milan are just trying to increase Silva price with this PSG saga. Similar to Kakas and City's saga

let ibra play as our atm.

PAto and cassano above him. prince to rotate with ibra when pato or cassano get tired/hurt.
Can prince play in midfield, if so, then:
-----monty-----ambro------prince
-----------------Ibra------------
------------cassano-------------
---------------------Pato-------

But a cb or left back, problems sorted.

Sell the fodder, which would rake in around 20 million, and that will cover some debt. Next year our wage is lower, and our revenue is better. Could we not break even?

so berlu played the hero card eh? the guy is a genius, all the gullible fans with an IQ lower than T.S's jersey number are going to fall for it

I predict that thiago will be sold for less next season to bartha.

This is far from over people

Its over. Silva stays.

In the moment the Milan Channel thing started, it was clear that he will stay. Silvio will be mentioned a few times by Galliani as the hero who saved the club and there wont be any big signings, since the club made clear we dont have the money for it and we should be have kept Silva.

increase the price like kaka?

IIRC, city were offering 90-100 million for kaka, the transfer stopped because kaka didn't want to join city, and berlu came out looking like a hero

Dud, you do not be naive. Ibra is our midfield? I wonder it is because the injuries or because he wants to have the ball on his feet and everybody to work around him. Then explain why he did not work at Barcelona? I thought it was because Ibra wanted to everybody rotate around him. Yeah, Ibra won us games aginst lesser opposition. What did he do against Inter, Juventus? Quite frankly nothing. IMHO, I think he wants to be trequartista but at the same time our main goalscorer.
As I said before, you are entitled to your opinions and I am to mine. For me, TS33 is more important than Ibra.

Such a pointless debate. They are both great players. Impossible to say who is more important.

If i were to bet id say milan would have more points last season with ibra on the field and thiago out than the other way around. But we need them both to be really competetive. Not only that we also need some quality in midfield on top of both of them. Hopefully this is what we get at the end of August.

Im definitely not stupid, or at least hope not  But hell, anyone threatening to take away a prized asset, with no promise of another, can put anyone in a tight spot.

Id rather get to keep what we have, rather than lose it. And if this is the way management gets to save buying a superstar... then fine.

We didnt exactly do badly last season, with injuries to boot. With the same team and different luck, who knows. its not ideal, but Id be happy to keep our stars and have another shot at the CL.

losing them would be very painful, as many of us want the club to remain one of europes elite. Not for glory, but for me, for some pride.

This was all a facade to show Berlusconi 'loves' Milan, an excuse to the fans that we won't be spending any more money in the summer, an attempt to get back at Leonardo, and to shop Thiago Silva around for high offers - possibly Barcelona. Don't be deluded, fellas, he'll probably end up in Barcelona on a much lower fee.

the hero card means "look guys, I resisted a huge offer even though we're in a bad financial situation i.e don't expect any signings above 500k"

of course I'm happy if silva stays, but if he eventually gets sold like kaka, it's going to be epic

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

:b: likes to be the hero. It was clear from the beginning he was setting himself up as the hero even if he is the villain . Just one of the many reasons new ownership would be a welcome change he's had his playtime with his toy that is Milan. Nothing now for months until he needs to stir up another distraction to entertain himself.

this is all to play with the fans heads and make them accept not spending in the summer, I told MB last night that it's either silva gets sold or berlu made this to look like a hero.

I have to admire the way berlu will make the gullible fans accept Milan's broke ass situation

I predict sth like this:"Thanks to our beloved presidente, who always confirms his love to this club. We've managed to keep the best defender in the world. Now we are completely competitive and fine as we are." Next month we will sign Natali.

:thumbsup::lol:

yep, he maybe an idiot who prefers ronaldinho over eto'o, but he's galactic class at playing people.

I just hope galliani works over time with that bosman list, there are a few interesting names there.

leave that to :g::gt: Berlu's job is done until we accept an offer for TS and Ibra in the near future or next summer. Then the freebies who nobody else would touch with barge pole will be welcomed as our new "champions"
