Also there is no need to compare TS with Nesta or Baresi , nowadays the guy is among the best three central defenders in the world if not the best & surely he posses the better image also.
So he is valued as much as Nesta was when we bought him if not more considering the lack of Cds in current time.
There is no way we could ever get a CD half as good as TS but if we invest wisely we could have a better defense.

And if TS is sold then we shouldnt cry over any other player since TS is our most valuable player.
If he was sold then I say go kamikaze & sell them all + start a new project.

Sad part is we only need someone like strootman or hernanes and acerbi to be really fine. If urby and Antonini under perform for the first half maybe we could bring in Vila or bosman balzaretti. As long as we keep ibra and silva I am ok, I guess management has succeeded in their plan for loyalty from us fans

4million per season for Dzagoev? not worth it. AFAIK cska missed out on the CL.

Dzagoev is a very good talent, hot form atm, but he hasn't done enough to warrant 2 million, let alone 4 million a season.

muntari/flamini(assuming he stays) will be the only CMs that actually do something defensively, still think in an ideal situation Milan would need to invest in a proper ball winner.

Montolivo is better defensively than Flamini. Flamini runs around a lot, press, but Monty intercepts/tackles more than him.

, with ibra and TS kept and with cassano-pato-boateng back from injuries and some of the youngsters who should be better like el shaarawy and de sciglio and maybe even strasser and didac , we should be a better squad . we have already signed montolivo-traore-gabriel , we then could add dossena(free) , promote a couple of youngsters like Ely-comi and hottor and we finish off by getting 1 midfielder like strootman for 10 mil.(from the sales of taiwo and paloschi) .

I know Ibra is more replaceable since we survived without him in many games in both seasons.

This season we won Udinese and Cagliari I think and got a super unlucky draw against Juve.

Last season we kinda clinched Scudetto without him.

The player gets a 5-year contract with 7.5m per year. The fee is 42m+bonuses.Now it's up to Berlusca.

I'd rather play Antonini over Urby. He played well at times last season, he just struggled putting back to back quality starts together, and never really found his form.

Guys this talk of selling Thiago Silva doesn't have an upside at all. We didn't benefit anything from the sale of Sheva or Kaka. Our team didn't become better after any of those sales and the same will be the case now with Silva, just much worse. When we sold Sheva in 2006 we still had 10 world class players. Now we only have 2 and he is one of them.

It's so sad that a mighty Milan team has slowly disintegrated into a minnow team that has to sell it's best stars to PSG and City to survive

Anyways guys the reason Seria A is so much crap now is because o the biggest teams like Milan becoming minnows of football. In the olden days like 10 years ago people like Pastore, Jovetic, Sanchez, Ramirez etc would have been snapped up by the Big teams. Now they are all headed abroad while the big teams lack elite European quality.

Milan is partly responsible for the decline of Seria A. The only way that stars in the making like Ramirez, Jovetic, Cavani, Asamoah, Isla etc remain in this league is if Juventus swoop in and buy them. We have become such a crappy side all that is left for u's to do is to sell any player with quality that we have to survive.. The milan of old would be snapping up these talents and improving the quality of our team.

Now we are evolving into a minnow and seria A along with it. This so called demise of Seria A would disappear overnight if Milan and Inter actually joined Juventus in adding quality players capable of challenging the elite in Europe. Milan is 3 starters away and Inter is like 2 or 4 starters away from being a top quality European team.

Instead we have become a small team looking to quickly sell the only two good players we have

By the way if Juve get Isla and Asamoah, their midfield would have one of the best depths in all of Europe since both can play in CM. They can have Vidal and Marchiso injured and not lose an inch of quality

I would try sell robinho for 15 Taiwo for 6-7 try get around 25mill then go for Acerbi/Ogbonna/Dede/ and a Mid Strootman/Sahin/Sandro/witsel and keep Aquilani or Flamini and Our squad would be capable to challenge all major comps IMO.

Our Best 11 with a few good in's this window is very strong if we stay injury free, I'd also go 3-4-1-2 as I think it works if your wing/backs have high work rates

Dzagoev is free in winter, so do something about it. He is underrated. Most people are saying now how he is good, but he has always been good, and is 21. His real worth is not below 15mln so...
