What a loss. If only he could get rid of the stress.

Include him in a deal for Armero and play 3-5-2 :g:

Ok, seriously we should include him on a Balzaretti deal or just cash in to fund Sahin if Urby works as a LB

Mesbah close to Torino
By Football Italia staff

Djamel Mesbah looks set to leave Milan this summer, with reports indicating that he is on the verge of joining Torino.

The 27-year-old left-back was a surprise mover in the January transfer market when the Rossoneri picked him up from relegation threatened Lecce.

Having struggled in his six months to assert a regular first-team position, the Algerian looks set to leave.

Reports this week have gathered pace that newly-promoted Torino are on the verge of a deal, and the latest rumours today suggest that they have reached an agreement with Milan to take 50 per cent of the player’s registration for a fee of €1.7m.

Milanello: Torino's president, Urbano Cairo, has also confirmed the signing of Mesbah.

We still bought 100% for 500k and now we're selling 50% for 1.7m. Not a bad bit of business. :o

Still this transfer was unnecessary.

It was unnecessary in hindsight. Nocerino is another player we got for 0.5m. Of course, we can't expect every cheap transfer to succeed, but I at least expected Mesbah to on par or better than Antonini. Too much to ask right?

MESBAH: "I thank all the teams that have been interested on me until today but my final decision is to stay at Milan"

MESBAH: "I feel well at Milan, here I'll also have the opportunity of being an starter"

LOL

I think Mesbah needs to have his eyes / mind check because he has more chance of being a starter anywhere except Milan.

No, it's not. Torino agreed to buy 50% of him for 1.7M

Still cant believe Galliani didnt tell him take it because there will be no space here next season (even if that is true or not).

I am curious to see how LB is going to work itself out as we have a long line of unproven players there.

If we had resources, the best solution for him to want out would be sign a good left-back. Something similar happened with Huntelaar. He was reluctant to leave, but as soon as Ibrahimovic arrived, things changed. He just knew competition was far too hard for him.
