I will be so pissed if we sign Granqvist. He's sooo average, regardless of what the Swedish contingent claims.

I mean.. he couldn't even beat Titus Bramble/Fitz Hall/Emerson Boyce/Maynor Figueroa into the Wigan first team.

I would rather not sign CB if Granqvist is the only option.
we already have a tall CB that's good in the air in yepes.

Granqvist wouldn't even make the bench at milan.

Mmmm no.
It wont happen overnight, but it can for 25 days. Gazprom or other investor, it can be done, but we know it wont.
Also stadium expenses are not taken in account towards ffp, as far as i know.

Yes, stadium expenses are NOT taken in account towards FFP and that's what i'm saying, the investor will give money for the stadium, he will not have enough time to intervene on the market.

You don't sell peaches, you sells shares from one of the biggest club in the world! Only the negotiations will last more then a week or two... IF there are any negotiations at all.

And with all due respect but Milan is not Man City, Milan is not Chelsea and Milan is not Malaga nor Anzhi! So please, don't take examples from those clubs! Milan have history, Milan have Berlusconi and Milan will not allow so smooth negotiations with some investors... (this is to the previous comment about City and Binho)

Transfer money is not the problem, it's not like we are broke and we need help for buying new players, Berlusconi can spend but he doesn't want or thinks that it is not profitable to buy stars anymore. Maybe transfers depend on stadium, maybe Berlusconi is planing to bring big names next year after we buy and finish San Siro. Who knows...

Sunday August 5 2012 Milan: 'Yanga-Mbiwa case closed'

Adriano Galliani warns “Montpellier turned down our offer and we cannot reach an agreement” for Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, so Milan are looking elsewhere.

The French defender had been the prime target to strengthen the back four after Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Motta left this summer.

“Montpellier turned down our offer and we cannot reach an agreement for buying the player,” said Vice-President Galliani.

“Therefore, the case is closed, with no regrets or bitterness. We have already identified other targets, but I won’t tell you who they are even under torture!”

It might only be over for the moment, because Yanga-Mbiwa’s contract with Montpellier expires in June 2013.

The Rossoneri hope to go under the radar in their next move, after Yanga-Mbiwa was splashed all over the newspapers, much to the irritation of Montpellier.

Potential targets include Genoa’s Andreas Granqvist and Chievo’s Marco Andreolli.

Milan would be very near of signing Yanga Mbiwa from Montpellier. Galliani could seal the deal when he returns from the US. [Sky]

I find all this talk about Acerbi very hasty and even unfair...

The 23 year old has only been with us for a month and what you expect him to be a master of his trade?!?!?!?

As I remember Thiago didnt come to us as the same player that left this summer...it took him time and training with professionals like Nesta and Maldini to then become a great centre back two years later....

Yes Acerbi hasnt got Nesta/Maldini etc to teach him the art of defending like a boss, but the likes of Yepes/Bonera/Tassoti can do just as good as a job.

Give this boy a few months to get his fitness/speed/ball control up to scratch before you judge him! From what I have seen his tackles, interceptions, headering and strength seem to be quite impressive.

Lets not jump the gun, this is a good player....he just needs the right time and direction to be a great one.

No.
And be carful with what you say.

Lol at people consoling themselves that we will get Mbiwa for free. If he does well in champions league and refuses to sign another contract then we will have to compete with the likes of City, Chelsea and Madrid for his wages.

There is little chance that we get him for free.

It's pathetic that Fiorentina can pay 8 million for Borja Valero, Napoli pay 8 million for Behrami but we can't pay the same for a player se badly need?

And some people are really finding excuses for this?

Are those pre-contracts legal?

They are when there is only mere months left on the contract , like Mexes Monty did , but they don't fully announce it until April or may like they did with those 2

Pussy mentality. :o Instead of coming here and being part of the new team, he is scared because we sold our two best players. Let him stay at Shitty. :D

Dzeko sends a message: "I love Italy and AC Milan have sold big players ..."

Edin Dzeko, engaged in a friendly against his former Wolfsburg, was interviewed by the microphones of "Sky Sport 24" about his future:

"There are a Manchester City player, but must wait until the end of the month and see if it will arrive van Persie or someone else. I also know that Milan has sold two great players ...

I follow your league, I'd like to play.
" The Bosnian opened without hiding a possible transfer, however, bound to the acquisition of Robin van Persie from Part of Citizens.

AC Milan interested in Dzeko has shown in recent weeks, any negotiation could develop in the second half of August.

The player could join Juventus, though Juve seem to be the first choices of others.

The twenty-six of Sarajevo, aware that the Rossoneri have placed in the attack, he wanted to send a message to the team that has always cheered ...

Middlesbrough had been among the clubs linked with a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia But Amelia wants to stay at #Milan

Milan spend 3.5 million on Amelia's wages every year.

He earns a fat wage for a back up keeper. I say let's get as much as we can for him and send him to Middlesbrough

But of course he is on a fat wage courtesy of Galliani so he doesn't have an incentive to move

I agree , and then told it isn't sept it isn't aug 31st , fact is they are dithering and dithering and looking anyone cheap free or on loan .I don't want or expect lavish over spending but damn they are irritating , as we know how all this plays out .
