If I'm honest, I actually was one of those peopel that didn't think of Boateng as even a decent passer, its partly cause his vision isn't the best and partly based on a pure stereotype, he doesn't look like the type that is a good passer, he looks like what you think Gattuso is (and Gattuso ended up becoming a decent passer, he also lived off a bad stereotype from his early Milan days), but if you actually pay attention you'll notice he is capable of being a good passer.

I feel many here like me have gone with the stereotype when analyzing him.

Everytime I see him play, it's the opposite. Since Allegri always played him as a TQ, I imagined him having somewhat of a capability to string decent passes (ignoring the fact that when he came here, he was primarily regarded a b2b mid).
Suffice it to say he disappointed more than he impressed. He's too careless and gives the ball away too much to be considered a good passer.

The only instances of decent passing that stand out were in 2010/2011:
the through pass to Pato that led to Chivu's sending off in the 2nd derby
the backheel pass to Robinho that led to a goal against Bologna

Edit:
About the Pazzini rumors. Despite the fact that he had a horrendous season last year, I'd prefer him over any of the strikers we've been linked with recently, except Berbatov.
I can't believe this is what it's come too :fp:

Gattuso was very accurate with his short passes and was very good and underrated at playing 1-2's but Prince's passing is very erratic. In space Prince can usually deliver some decent passes but when things get cramped he usually isnt that good.

Prince has a good to near excellent first touch but sometimes he just doesnt seem to use that talent to get out of jail and then play a good pass, he opts to try incredible one touch.

If he continues to work on his game he can become very good and effective so long as he knows when to pull the tricks and when to keep it simple.

I'm sure Inter would sell "Ricky" Alvarez to us.....

FFS he's their best young player

They choose Stanković over him. If he were to come urby could be use in LB and Alvarez in the midfield. perfect attacking and defense in the left side.

I think you are wrong, the best attribute that Boa has is his short pass. he is a player that connects within all midfield and attack. However, so far in pre-season he seems confused because he got '10' jersey. He should play the same way as last season (like Oscar. less vision but more grit )

Pazzini is a much more interesting option than Borriello or Bendtner. The guy is a fox in the box, and will pretty much be a direct sub for Pato in case Pato gets injured. That's all we really need in attack actually. A fit Pato is evidently capable of scoring goals.

My preference is somewhat like this - Pazzini...Matri............Bendtner.........Borriello.

Milan have made a new contact with Madrid regarding Kaka, according to Gazzetta.Galliani is offering loan+option to but,Perez yet again rejected this offer mainly due to the Beckham Law.
Real is willing to make a discount on Kaka (8m),however even with these condition Galliani doesn't have the resources to close the deal.

Inter is also interested in Borriello.Napoli,Juve and Milan are interested in Pazzini.
Napoli might offer a Gargano/Pazzini swap.

I think it's cause expectations were very high that summer. Return to CL after the ban and Milan was unbeaten for the whole previous season (would keep unbeaten till half of the season - 58 games).

Ah OK.. Must have been that.

I dont think transfer market influenced season ticket sales so much in those days. People were sane.
