Anyways does anybody see us playing (Home) in any other stadium besides San Siro?
The cost has increased to €150 million, including €15 million for the Juventus Museum that is scheduled to open in the first half of 2012, but it has largely been financed by two important initiatives.
First, Sportfive acquired the stadium naming rights for a guaranteed minimum of €75 million, of which €42 million has already been paid to the club and the remaining €33 million will be paid over the next 12 years in equal annual installments of €2.75 million. From 2011/12, this will be booked as €6.25 million annual revenue. Although a sponsor has yet to be identified, this is only an issue for the broker and does not affect Juventus financially. Second, Juventus sold the commercial land adjacent to the stadium for €20 million to Nordiconad, who will build a shopping area called Area 12.
This meant that Juventus only had to take on additional debt of €60 million, which was provided by Istituto per il Credito Sportivo. As at 30 September 2011, €52 million of this had been loaned to the club.
The new stadium looks the business in both senses of the word, as it will be a seven-day a week operation, hosting numerous events and guided tours of the museum. Indeed, the club has estimated that match day revenue will increase significantly from the current €12 million to €25-35 million, with the number of premium seats being particularly important, e.g. Arsenal make 35% of their match day revenue from just 9,000 premium seats at the Emirates.

i was thinking a bronze statue in north korean style would be good
but the more i think about it maybe a marble statue like michelangelo david would be more fitting....
AC Milan last week wrote an official letter of interest, expressing the will to build a new stadium in the Expo 2015's area.
AC Milan could start building the new stadium in 2016. The stadium would be ready for the 2018/2019 season.
To build a new stadium in the Expo area, AC Milan wants the the full ownership of the area and the right to build bars, restaurants, shops.
We can follow what ladri did to finance their stadium. If we could secure a 10-year naming right of about €15m/year before hand, we wouldn't need a whole lot of money from Berlusconi or the banks either
This is the perhaps the only comforting development thus far in our campaign. We desperately need a new stadium.
Sonata any official confirmation on the figures pertaining to the new adidas deal?
In case you missed it, Milan and Adidas officially announced the renewal of their deal that sees the German sportswear brand supply all sporting kit for the club. The previous agreement still had four years to run, expiring in 2017, but the two have decided to renew early, extending the expiry to 2023.
They were keen not to reveal financial details in the 50-odd minute press conference that took place at Milanello on Tuesday, with Adriano Galliani simply describing it as “an important contract.” La Gazzetta dello Sport, who we know have been wrong in the past, claimed that Milan would receive around €180-190m over the 10 years, which equates to €18-19m a season. Odd given that they thought Milan’s old deal was worth €20m less than two months ago.
Of course, we know the old deal wasn’t worth €20m – probably more around €14m basic plus bonuses. If La Gazzetta is to be believed this time around it means the new deal is a slight improvement on the old terms, but in the grand scheme of world football is actually quite disappointing given that most of the big clubs are on deals worth at least €20m or more, including the other three major European teams in Adidas’ portfolio (Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich).
Until we see the 2014 and 2015 financial statements, it’s going to be difficult to ascertain the value of the deal. In the meantime, there were a number of interesting comments in Tuesday’s press conference at Vismara from both Galliani and Adidas Group CEO Herbert Hainer, which are worth exploring in more detail.

milan win for new stadium!
You guys act as if renovating the San Siro is that easy or even more so - cheaper.
San Siro is a disadvantage because of the lack of potential expansion for hotels, restaurants etc etc not to mention renovating it is like to cost as much as building a new stadium (if not more so)
Time for sentimentality is over. We need to move on
Milan to leave San Siro
Inter and Milan have reportedly already decided that they will end cohabitation at San Siro, with the Rossoneri to move out by 2017.
