AC Milan comunica di avere esonerato l’allenatore Clarence Seedorf e di avere affidato la Prima Squadra, fino al 30 Giugno 2016, a Filippo Inzaghi.

I hope he didn't end up like dorf

Im sure i can easily say that we all love Pippo. I cant remember ever hating him or criticising him, he is truly adored.

I hope he can really make the team click and push their limits. Seems being a team is more important than having talent atm with so many teams overcoming superior squads in the CL etc.

Surprised.

Especially due to that rumour that he'll manage the Primavera today and take over on July 10th or whenever it was.

Oh well. I look forward to his management. I think he'll do well and we'll be more dynamic than we have been since 2007.

Surprised it happened today, you moron.

Everyone knew Seedorf was gone and Inzaghi was taking over. I just thought that, with it happening so slowly, it wouldn't happen for a while.

Honestly, read the post.

There was no such rumor ''you moron'', only that he'll manage a few friendlies with Primavera until Milan find an agreement with Dorf, no 10th July BS

I think the fact Seedorf has a job ready in Brazil for WC speeded things up a bit

Well yeah but that's only logical, no? 9-10th of July is the day players and coaches return to Milanello. It didn't say it will be made official then, it said he'll be presented.

------------

So far in his coaching career - 70 games, 44 wins, 14 losses and 12 draws.
A lot more details in that article, use google translate if you dont speak Italian.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be a case of bringing him that bit too early, and fucking it all up with another legend.

I hadn't thought of that.

Apologies. I was thinking that was when Inzaghi would be officially appointed.

My bad.

Congrats with the new position.

It'll difficult to compare his results with dorfs results tho.

i love Pippo. But initial my statistics: a former striker player become a coach rarely success: From Maradona, Di Canio, Zola, vanbasten, Solkiajer, Tomasson...all of them failed!
But a former midfield player become good coach and great coach: Ancelotti, Capello, guardiola, conte...

alway support Inzaghi anyway!

Forza Pippo. I wanted him to replace the shit one in the first place.....then when he gets tired of :g: Clarence would have had enough experience to step in....but this is all too obvious :mb:
Management decided to go with their proven ass backwards philosophy :proud:

I am sad to see Seedorf go. I think we are making a big mistake because since Seedorf came on we were not doing bad. I liked his philosophy of play, and it always takes time to build a team under a new coach. Pippo will also have a hard time then what ??? Stability is key to building a good team. I feel that we didn't give Seedorf enough time to build his team to be effective.

if we made europe, it would be have been a bit harder for seedorf to be fired. but he would have been fired regardless.

“I am delighted. Today is unforgettable. I thank President Berlusconi and all the club for the faith shown in me and the prestigious professional opportunity they have offered me.

I am honoured and proud to be the coach of team that I played in for so many years, a team and a club I have shared so many unforgettable moments with.

I will give my all for this shirt, with dedication, passion and determination, like I always did on the pitch as a player and as a coach in the youth academy."
