ok this is the avenue my twisted brain brought me on this morning.

of course, Seedorf's contract negotiation is holding up Pippo's official appointment as the coach....BUT...with Parma now not getting into europe, what if these guys now think they have a better shot at Donadoni...and trying to pull it off. giving Inzaghi the shaft before he even starts.
fully aware that the chance of that happening are slim but hey, WE ARE MILAN...and everything imaginable can happen here

How is this better than getting Ashley Cole? Abate doesnt attack well at all as we have seen over the years and De Sciglio is not the same player when he plays LB. So Abate at Rb and DeS at Lb will be two average sidebacks while Des at Rb and AC at Lb will be too very good fullbacks offering much more in attack. Its a no brainer.

How is this better than getting Ashley Cole? Abate doesnt attack well at all as we have seen over the years and De Sciglio is not the same player when he plays LB. So Abate at Rb and DeS at Lb will be two average sidebacks while Des at Rb and AC at Lb will be too very good fullbacks offering much more in attack. Its a no brainer.

The bring in old famous players strategy have led us nowhere.

We should copy Real Madrid policy.

Easy. Take the idea of the of the ball going from Seedorf to Pippo and apply it to the current situation.
Overanalizing is just as dangerous as not making any effort.

Sadly Abate insists on starting for some reason. If he doesnt being De Sciglio's understudy i will be ok with him staying here but I dont think that will happen. And abate must be sold to solve the problem of constant/urby . We can buy a proper left back from the money .

Both should start at the same time...there's no discussion in that
Abate in RB,De Sciglio in LB...DeS usually does pretty damn well in LB
Don't think Abate would get us that much money anyways...but we can free up some wages by tossing out garbage like Constant/Urby

You're right... DeS is not the same player when he plays as a LB... he's actually better there.

I dont know how you guys can settle for Abate. He is part of the problem . Time we get fullbacks who can offer something in attack, not rubbish crosses to the stands. If you can accept his mediocrity then don't expect Milan to perform anything better than mediocre too

He is nowhere near our concerns. Preferably get a decent Cf, Am, Dm, Lb and Cb before trying tu get a proper Rb.

To what he has contributed, not even in the top 5 of leaving ASAP. Prolly not even in top 10.

Raiola is his agent and he is asking 1 more million per year to renew. Therefore, he needs to be sold before leaving for free.

Darmian could be a nice pickup as RB or Murru as LB. The wild wonder is if we could steal the Romagnoli kid from Roma.

Damn, I remember when Inzaghi started his career in serie a... his first games in parma where he actually was played as winger at times. THen he exploded in Atalanta.

Who would have thought back then in 95-97 that this kid was the future Milan coach
