THE best signing we've made from 96 til 2021. Could easily have gone elsewhere

He gave his best years to Milan. An absolute legend. Can never not love Shevchenko

Record goalscorer in Derbies

03 UCL sent Inter to hell....then won it vs Juve

I just wished he hit the 200 goal mark

Take him over R9 all day long.

Footballers are people too.

Do I stay at my job because I love it - true for some. Do I stay because I am comfortable and not overly ambitious - also true for some...

Would I move if offered a great increase and a chance to live and experience somewhere new - also very enticing even if I'm happy where I am.

In the case of Kessie - stay or go I just want performance of last season Kessie. The worst outcome would be for him to renew and then give these hollow showings for the most of his time.

Looking forward to AFCON to see Tonali for full matches and see how he copes. This should be great for his maturity. Bakayoko... not so much.

That pre injury R9 wasn't human though - post injury R9 could still rival Sheva and arguably still the better scorer but yes..
Sheva will always be special to me - Even though I logically rate others higher, him, Baggio and Becks are my all time favourites.

Prime Kaka was the best 00s attacker for Milan though, just unstoppable. Sad we didn't have prime R9 in our shirt, would have been epic.

If you compare Kaka, Sheva and R9 after their prime ended R9 did hold up the best imo.

R9 with two shot knees and irregular body hormone. Yeah no comparison right there.

Salah should've celebrated Hanukkah instead, if he wanted unity in mankind :sip:

Good way to sum up why I'm so butthurt about Sheva.

Christianity, at least some strains have adopted many pagan traditions as those communities have adopted the faith.

Now the super commercialization - that's just straight capitalism. I mean even an afterthought like Halloween is being forced into a 'season'

So Atalanta is spending 22m and even fucking Fiorentina is capable to spent 15m on Ikone in January... so what's actually stopping Milan to spent 15-20m on Faivre now?

(Referring to Maldini, who said we should not have high expectations and that we're fine as we are). :o

I don't care that much about defender, I'll be fine with someone on loan till summer, which will not affect the planned budget too much anyway. Our situation with CAM/RW is more concerning.

There are four victories won by Milan Primavera in the last five days. The team led by Federico Giunti, after a difficult start to the season, moved up the rankings up to twelfth place thanks to the successes obtained against Juventus, SPAL, Sampdoria and Pescara.

We already got 3 RW
And I think they might rather wait for Adli than get another CAM, which will be disaster for us if Diaz continues his bad form

Boga and Ikone are mor smart sales than buys though. If Atalanta want to offload Muriel I wouldn‘t say no to a cheeky loan.

Good early bussines. Now where's our signing?
Hopefully imminent. Paolo himself said the window is open all year round.

Quantity over quality. :o Bunch of people who can be decent as backups but none of them are starting material.

But yes, I agree that CAM position is more worrying now, that's why I'm talking about Faivre who can cover that spot until Adli comes next season.

I am sympathetic to players, but at a certain point, I think the parallels between a more normal job and that of a professional athlete end.

If we are going to use an analogy then fans are customers, and athletes are entertainers. If you piss off the customers, you'll get fired. And even at regular jobs, if you leverage your position with a company to get a better job, people at your first job tend not to pat you on the back for using them.

My previous boss told me that I should leave and go someplace with higher stakes, she was an amazing mentor and taught me a lot, made me better at my job, but I was open with her about where I was going. If I had used her to go to a competitor I wouldn't expect her to smile and thank me.

Kessie seems like he is more sensitive than Donna. Or maybe Donna is too dumb to even understand what was happening, not even joking. Raiola defends his players, that's one of the big reasons he's trusted. I don't think he's managing Kessie very well, because his performances are suffering.

I also think it is about what is being built here. RB Salzburg openly tells their players that they are going to develop them and sell them. I don't think that is Milan's goal. Maldini is building a team to win. Not fast enough for my liking, but I understand that he's building, and I think our offers to Donna, (redacted), and Kessie are all more than fair. Donna is making less than we offered, (redacted) used a tragedy to get his salary, while Kessie has pushed for more and more.

We aren't low-balling anyone, so, if they want to ride out to a free transfer, to make more money, go ahead. Kessie has been inconsistent, to put it kindly, and reports are that his contract situation is impacting him. Then sign the contract buddy. Barella earns 5m, and you could argue who was better between the two last year, but this year? It's not even close.

So yeah, I agree with you on Kessie needing to step up his game. I'd love for Kessie to return to his previous self, and sign at 5m, but right now, I don't want him 4m let alone the reported 6.5m or his desired 9m.

Watching Pobega this year, he deserves his chance next summer.

So yeah, this isn't so much a disagreement as much as just a continuation of your thoughts, to be clear.

Am not denying that we need a starter CD , am just saying its not our number one priority for this current season.
I cant wait for our team to get their hands on Adli.
But with the emergence of a semi functional RW in Messias then a working AM should be our indisputed number one priority.
Rather if its an established one ala Kjaer or or a hidden gem like ala Kalu either to be rotated with Adli next season.
The way to establish our priority is simple same as it was last season when a RW was more important than a CD , a ST or a CM.
If you had to make a choice for Gabbia , Kalu or Roma to start as a CD or Diaz to start as an AM then what will be your choice ?!
Look, I'm not a believer in Brahim, I guess if you're asking if I'd rather grab a 6 month loan of a CB or a CAM, I'd go with a CAM.

I just don't think it's an either/or situation. It's not like we are only allowed one transfer.

I just see the urgency of getting our next CB, because of how much uncertainty we have going into next season, so my viewpoint is not just about the next 6 months, because with our medical staff, we could bring in Bernardo Silva and we'd tear every muscle in his body, lol.

Kjaer interview:

On Milan…

“AC Milan is the club where I have felt most comfortable. The place where my role on and off the pitch suits me best. We are doing well and I get a lot of confidence from the coach, a lot of support from fans. Everything goes up into a higher entity.”

On living in the city…

“The family thrives, Milan is a fantastic city, and since the early years of my career, I have dreamed of playing for this club. Already in Palermo, I told my agent that one day I will play for AC Milan.”

On his arrival…

“The pieces fell into place for me with the move to Milan two years ago. They picked me up for a leadership role in a young team. We have got the club back to the top and also back into the Champions League. And personally, I have probably from day one played my best football in my career.”

On his injury…

“Unfortunately, I ended the year by getting a serious knee injury. It’s the first of its kind in my career, and it’s tough, of course, but it’s also a part of football.

“And now that it’s happened, I will come back – maybe a little clichéd, but true – even stronger than before the injury,” he stated.

You didn't say anything controversial to Qaas? Or Muslims in general?

MB, let's recap, you said: "If you as a Muslim, are triggered by Salah celebrating Christmas, you belong with the taliban." Then followed that up with this gem: "If he's agreeing with the comments Denmark should put qaas' ass on the first plane to Mogadishu." You don't think you went a little too hard, especially the second bit?

I said what I think of your position and I think I said it quite clearly. Your continued obsession with what constitutes a man notwithstanding (and the need to prove it to me, for some reason) I don't think you know my type at all, which is what makes this so much funnier to me. Just because I don't like your sophomoric and predictable positions, doesn't mean I am whatever inaccurate caricature you think you are opposing.

You seem to go out of your way to fight with people--and sure I argue over football with unnecessarily long posts (but that's the purpose of this forum) I just find your incendiary remarks to be particularly annoying, especially because you feel the need to say inflammatory things and then turn around and whine about those who disagree with you. Where is this alleged overwhelming manliness that you possess, shouldn't it be displayed now, of all times?

I've tried to bury the hatchet from your last tantrum, which came without me even interacting with you I'd like to add; I got the same hoodie that you brought to my attention from the Milan store--I thanked you for bringing it to my attention--among other olive branches... yet you persist in your petulance. I think you said some unnecessary shit, so stop acting brand new.

You ate him up
